About Me

I am a violinist with a higher degree from the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid and a Master's degree in Solo Performance from the Katarina Gusrka Higher Center. I have been teaching for four years, both in schools and in private lessons. On the other hand, I am currently studying musicology at the University of La Rioja.

A piano class for beginners. I have over ten years of piano and music theory experience and passion that I would like to use. Class units include:

I. Develop Music Comprehension Skills: Teaching the basic music vocabulary, keys, theory, and techniques.
II. Cultivate Motor Skills: Practicing chords, scales, muscle memory, using both hands, finger facility, and strength.
III. Reading music: Practicing songs, chord building, intervals.
IX. Integration: Combining all of these skills to read music and play beginners piano music, practice ear training, sight-reading, harmony, and advanced rhythms.

I teach singing, piano, music awareness/introduction and solfège.

I live in Madrid and I am a student of a Higher Degree in Singing (Jazz and Modern Music). I dedicate a good part of my time to teaching (musical and linguistic) in the format of private classes online or at home.

I started giving private classes at home to children when I lived in Germany. During the 22-23 academic year I gave piano classes to students of all ages at the RedMusik Music School (Igualada, Catalonia).
I studied the piano and other instruments for more than 15 years at the UGDA and at the Luxembourg City Conservatory of Music. After many years of music theory and piano I obtained the „Première Mention“ certificate from the Conservatory, with the qualification "Très Bien".

A good music lesson should include not only technique and reading sheet music, but also theoretical and harmonic study, improvisation, recreational playing with the instrument, and ear training and rhythm exercises. I am interested in designing the lesson creatively and adapting it to the needs and desires of the student.

I am Violeta Amat, a pianist and actress living in Madrid.
I am looking for students interested in exploring music and/or theater from both a technical and creative perspective. My experience and training in theater have allowed me to develop a pedagogical approach that combines both disciplines: music and theater. Theatrical tools allow me to work with students on stage fright and the development of their own sound through activities involving fantasy, play, and imagination.
