About Me

I look forward to helping you attain proficiency in English/German/French on an ongoing basis. I am a certified teacher of all 3 languages. I initially taught French and German for 12 years (Grades 10 through 12). In the past, I led tours to French and German speaking countries every summer for 10 consecutive years.

I TAILOR-MAKE my lessons for the individual & their needs, so no time is wasted. In so doing, you get more accomplished & get more "bang for your buck." I would be happy to discuss my plan to help you achieve your language speaking goals in person or via Zoom.

Originally from the US, I have lived in Europe for a total of 9 years. As a student, I lived overseas for 2 years; I attended the Université de Strasbourg & was a Fulbright Scholar awarded one year graduate study at the Universität zu Köln. Since 2015, while maintaining my private English, French and German students, I have also been teaching Academic English and German A1 to B1 for Maastricht University's Language Centre.

One of my fortés is the ability is to take any aspect of the language and its grammar and really "break it down" to where you TOTALLY GET IT!
