I have spent my entire childhood and adult life in the United States before completing a master's degree in Political Science and European Politics at KU Leuven. It depends on the age of the person I'm teaching, but I would switch between reading, listening and talking exercises. A small text would have to be written for the next hour, so we can go through it together. Obviously I am very spontaneous and able to switch my program, so every individual person is learning at their perfect level.
