Discover the magic of cyanotype — a beautiful sun-printing technique that creates deep blue images using sunlight and natural materials. In this creative hands-on session, children can explore leaves, flowers and photographic negatives, compose their own designs, and watch as sunlight transforms them into unique blue prints. The workshop encourages creativity, observation and curiosity about nature, while introducing children to an unusual and fascinating form of photographic art. Children will work with pre-prepared cyanotype paper, so they can focus on the creative process in a safe and enjoyable way. Each child will create their own cyanotype artworks to take home. Hello there! My name is Vasilis and I am a jazz/rock/eastern traditional and classical guitar player, singer and songwriter currently studying as a 3rd year student in the Jazz and Pop guitar department of HKU conservatory. I am coming from Greece where I graduated from my first bachelor on classical guitar and the last three years I live, study, work and play in Utrecht. My teaching career started very early, 12 years ago when my classical guitar teacher let me teach my first student and since then I have worked in multiple music schools and in private lessons with students of every age. This year I also started giving my first band coaching group lessons. In my lessons I try to create a learning path that is formed arround the interests and taste of each student. Since I am a singer and songwriter the lessons can also focus on the creating part of music if of course the student is interested in that. I work with empathy and sensitivity arround the needs of each student. As for my playing career, I play with multiple bands on original songs of mine or covers in different venues and festivals in Europe. The genres differ between pop, jazz, rock, eastern traditional and blues so I can give a big variety of stylistic directions to each student. Last but not least, I am also a singer and because of my good performance in school, I was awarded from the HKU Conservatory the oportunity to follow the vocal curriculum of the school as well. I have always been very interested in understanding and learning more about my mother tongue and I have been teaching Spanish (for 7 years already) through private lessons to both children and adults who want to learn this language. My teaching method will be adapted to the student: I don't have a fixed method because I believe that each person learns better in a unique way that is adapted to them.
