I am a classically trained singer from the Royal Academy of Music in London. I primarily work as a performer in opera and I very much enjoy teaching. I can help you with vocal technique, improving your breathing, interpretation, and general performance skills. I can definitely also help with different genres like pop music, jazz, or gospel. I am a classical voice graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music and a qualified teacher. I am a friendly teacher with a personalised approach to teaching. I aim to ensure that all pupils are comfortable with me and my teaching. I am able to teach for exam preparation or just for fun. I enjoy teaching all ages and levels. I am happy to teach online or in-person in London.

My classes are different depending on your level and age. With children from 7 to 12, we start by doing easy vocalization and start training the ear with intonation, we then have fun singing your favorite songs. With teenagers, I also start with some vocalization, a little more elaborate. Depending on the student's capabilities, we start establishing a comfortable range for them and then proceed to singing. For my older students ideally, I divide our lesson into 2 sections. We work on respiration and how the diaphragm works. We do scales and arpeggios and work on intonation. We then proceed to singing and putting into practice our technique. Some students might need more technique before they actually sing, I like to take things slowly and make sure the student feels confident and comfortable singing. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, from beginners to more advanced. Classical training enables you to sing in any kind of way, so don’t hesitate and let’s sing!

I am an Italian soprano, graduated from the Dutch National Opera Academy. I work as a soloist as a freelance singer, and I teach singing to students of different levels and ages for many years. The most important thing during my lessons is to help the student find a healthy and comfortable way of singing! During the first part of the lesson, we will focus on Technique and breathing, while during the second part of the lesson we will focus on the repertoire chosen together with the student, applying the aspect of the technique that we worked on previously in the lesson.

From my childhood I have been studying music and art: sang in choir and solo, played piano, painted, studied music history and literature, solfeggio. Later in college I have also learned choir conducting, had ensemble and choir singing lessons, cultural studies. During last year in university I had pedagogy practice at university and at private art school (where I worked as a music tutor before the war - piano, voice). I truly enjoyed working with students. They all were different age (8 - 40+ years old) and level. But all were very interesting and work was pleasant. My education was very various: my core subjects were conducting, choir, voice, piano. So it allowed me to work with children, teens and adults with quite wide range of interests and needs: some students needed/wanted to learn particular composition(s), sometimes pop songs arrangements, some were interested in “introduction” to the music, some wanted to renew skills they gained in their childhood and continue their journey to the music world. In addition I prepared presentations (which contained information about cultural and historical background and musical and character/art analysis). So after graduation from choir conducting faculty (which allowed me to deepen my knowledge in many important compatible branches) I concentrated on studying classical singing and piano, expanded my cultural studies and analysis knowledge, practiced solfeggio and harmony.

I am offering Pop, Jazz, Classical singing classes for all levels and ages - basically whoever wants to initiate, improve, or perfect their vocal technique is welcome. I teach both in person and online. I have students from all over the world: Netherlands, France, Japan, Bulgaria, Latvia and more. I have students who sing for pleasure and students who are preparing for auditions and competitions. Feel free and find enjoyment and confidence in singing! In lessons, we will focus on extending the vocal range, breath support, interpretation, as well as learning to read music (if you have no previous musical training). I will be able to help you with a repertoire in Italian, German, French, and Russian - learning languages was a part of my training. I have a bachelor's degree in classical singing from Conservatorium van Amsterdam and I have 12 years of vocal experience and 20 years of studying music in total.

My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborated with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. No experience is needed, just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music. In my classes I teach you how to use your voice correctly when singing, improving your breathing, voice, diction, with your favorite song repertoire. The idea is to make it very dynamic so that you fall in love with your voice and are motivated to want to work on it every day. It doesn't matter how old you are, you can learn. My pedagogy is holistic in nature and is inspired by different techniques transmitted by the teachers who have guided me and continue to follow me today. The format I want to offer is as follows: first I listen to the learner to find together the best learning method, then I offer him physical warm-up exercises. I continue with vocalizations adapted to his level and his needs. Then, while applying a vocal technique aimed at the balance of the thoraco-abdominal breathing, I accompany him in reading the text for a progressive approach to the interpretation of the piece.
