Hi, I`m Sietse. I`m from the Netherlands and have been living in Belgium for over 10 years now.
Besides working as an actress, singer and theatremaker, I really enjoy teaching! I especially enjoy working as a personal coach together to reach you goals.
For me teaching is not a side-job beside my artistic carreer (nor it is the other way around) I always strife to combine the two, since, in my experience, they inspire each other immensly.
As a teacher I`m patient, friendly and I love to add some humor to the classes. However, I`m very ambitious and driven. Furthermore: creating a safe environment is fundamental.

I'm happy to help you get started with writing and/or improve your skills! Whether you're looking for a coach to guide you in and give you feedback on blogs, columns, short stories, fiction or non-fiction - I'm happy to throw myself into it.

I myself am mainly active as a writer of theatre texts, but I also have experience with writing song lyrics, literary translations, essays etc.. I approach all texts from a creative perspective and artistic vision. As a theatre author I am also concerned with how a text sounds - if it does not sound pleasant, it can certainly be written better.

As a coach, I focus primarily on giving feedback on the texts you write and I am happy to help you get started with assignments to start writing and/or to shake off the dreaded writer's block. If you prefer to focus more on theory around writing, I am of course happy to help you with that too.

As a writer (mainly playwriting, but also songs, columns, literary translations and essays) I'm very interested in helping you either to start writing, or to better your writing.
We'll work mostly by practicing and discussing your work. If you prefer to zoom in on theorists, I'm happy to guide you in that as well.

I'm a professional playwriter and dramaturg (and studied at LUCA School of Arts with Nico Boon, Freek Mariën and Nathan Vecht). I previously taught playwriting in different groups (CREA, Buitenkunst) and work as a script advisor for professional theater makers. Besides that, I often help people in writing resumes, papers and thesis papers.

About our partnership with Hollywood

Hollywood Actor's Showcase and Richie's Acting Workshop is one of the best-known, most influential acting schools in the United States. After 30 years of training for aspiring actors and Hollywood stars (including Scarlett Johansson and Drew Barrymore), she teamed up with Belgium's Badass Intensive Acting Studios last year to expand European. The goal is simple: to bring the authentic energy of Hollywood to Europe, so that even people who cannot afford to move to America themselves can receive the same education.

There are not many acting courses that focus on acting in front of the camera. After all, most schools teach you — implicitly or explicitly — theater techniques and while the art of acting itself remains central, it should be clear that acting for TV and film requires slightly different skills, as it usually involves subtler, smaller expressions and movements. . Film connoisseurs therefore know that the camera tends to notice the smallest emotion.
