Music is a very particular and emotional way to communicate with our environment. Everything in this world works with vibrations, which we can translate into music, according to different points of perspective. With music we can transmit our feelings, moods, needs or sensations that come from the deepest part of our being and we cannot express them in any other way. I am here to share my knowledge in music with you and take you to another level with your musical skills.

I am Jesus and I am currently working as a guitar and bass instructor at the school of modern music (MMS Leipzig) in the German city Leipzig.

Extra information

Having an instrument (guitar/bass) at home to work together is ideal for this course. If we have a presential course, don't worry about bringing your instrument, I will provide you with the necessary equipment.

About Me

I am Jesus and I am from Mexico. My mother tongue is Spanish. I also speak English and German. I am a positive person and motivated to always learn something new. I have a degree in communications and electronics engineering from the University of Guanajuato, Mexico. I also have a master's degree in electrical engineering specialized in instrumentation and digital systems from the same university. I have been living in Germany since 2016. I moved to Leipzig, Germany to study a PhD in Bioinformatics. In 2017 I started my music studies, focusing on guitar and singing, but I also play bass, a bit of percussions and start learning drums.

I consider myself a very positive person, healthy and eager to learn new and interesting things. Last year I studied a little bit of French, but I still have a strange and very strong attraction to Russian culture, language and country. I think I will dedicate the next 2 years to try to learn the basics of Russian, and then I might come back to continue with French.

Education

My main studies are in communications and electronics engineering, with a master's degree in electrical engineering and a PhD in bioinformatics.

I have a career transition now as a software developer and work also as a digital engineering consultant.

Experience / Qualifications

I started my music studies in January 2017 in the German city of Leipzig. Throughout these 7 years I have played with different bands and at different festivals. To date I play bass with the band Ape Agency from the city of Delitzsch, guitar with the band SkarabaZZ from the neighbourhood Plagwitz in the city of Leipzig.

I have also organized different cultural exchange events between Mexico and Germany, working as a band manager and concert organizer. I have an intercultural program between Mexico and Germany called World Soul . In the year 2022 I started studying in a program called Professional Program at the MMS school in Aschaffenburg. Currently I work as a guitar and bass instructor for MMS Leipzig.
