Epfl preparation course or tutoring.

From 63 C$ /h

Going back to higher education is a difficult stage that requires a lot of work. Having completed my first year of study in mechanical engineering at epfz, I know these challenges and wish to prepare students as well as possible in order to arrive with confidence. I can give courses on the subject taught or simply give advice on the organization and structure of work.

I can also give lessons at other school levels, obviously adapting my teaching to each one.

Extra information

I would like to have information on the type of course I want and to receive the necessary material (exercises, theory, ...) before the course.

I offer support, refresher and advanced courses in mathematics.
I adapt to everyone.
I have a dynamic and pedagogical approach.
My lessons can take place at your home or via a camera that films my writings, as well as a computer camera for videoconferencing. Thus, you can improve your level in mathematics wherever you are, without any geographical constraint, in a fun and effective way.

Acquiring methods, organizing knowledge and reasoning to solve exercises, using memorization techniques are often the important points to develop to enable the student to be independent and achieve their goals.

I am rather open and relaxed, while being precise and rigorous.

I am a secondary school teacher (retraining in 2021) after having been a chemical and textile engineer, and a former student of a preparatory class for the grandes écoles (higher and special maths).

For 12 years, I have been giving individual lessons to students of all levels, and more specifically to students preparing for the French scientific baccalaureate, the international baccalaureate or in cycle.

The math, physics, chemistry, and SVT courses of the Swiss maturity program and gymnasium or French programs are done by either in-depth explanations or by a quick course and summary of essential needs according to the case of each student supported by exercises from the book or evaluations and exams from other high schools.
Special program for Matura and Terminales.
As well as for (students in international and European Schools in English, they can have support in Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
For the start of the academic year in Switzerland, support courses for EPSU and ECUS exams.
For the first university year, support courses in Mathematics - Analysis - Matrices - Statistics - Algebra - Geometry - Physics - Mechanics - Electricity - Chemistry - Organic Chemistry - Biology, Geology.
My experience is too long and for years I have learned methods for each case and for each student to fill in their gaps with the best results of Excellent, Very Good, and Good as mentioned by my students.
I can also help students to better prepare for courses and support them to better prepare for the duties of CNED in science subjects.
Guaranteed response within minutes up to 10 hours maximum.

Graduate psychologist and in retraining, I give tutoring lessons at your home in all subjects for a primary and college level.

I have already given during and after my studies many private lessons to students encountering temporary difficulties during the school year or by following them over the entire school year.

With my experience as a psychologist, I have knowledge on how to interact with students as well as work on their learning motivation.

I am also converting to a FLE (French as a Foreign Language) master's degree in which I am also learning how to teach knowledge to students.

I offer tutoring in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, tailored to each student's level and needs. The goal is to review essential concepts and understand problem-solving methods.

The sessions are personalized and can cover exam preparation, exercise correction, in-depth exploration of certain concepts, etc. I favor a pedagogical approach using analogies or real-life situations whenever possible, taking the time to explain concepts in different ways until they are fully understood.
