About Me
Bera - Biography
At the age of 8, she began to study saxophone, piano and guitar at the Ayacucho School of Music (EMEAI). At 18, she travels to Buenos Aires to continue
professionally studying saxophone. Always fascinated by interaction
between artistic disciplines, she finished her studies at IUNA with a project called “Words on the possibility of a dialogue between languages” with which she obtained her diploma in Musical Arts with a Saxophone orientation. In her thesis, she works on a repertoire of
current composers, and offers an integrated program for contemporary pieces (including
two specially commissioned for the project) in relation to this verbal element-

Since 2006, she follows courses with different Argentinian and foreign teachers, she
participates in many and various musical groups (Orchester des jeunes pour le
bicentenary, Philharmonic Orchestra of Buenos Aires, Symphony Group of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters). In 2008, she won first prize in the first IUNA chamber music competition.
In 2011 she received the MMSEN grant from the Mozarteum Argentino to improve her skills
with master Arno Bornkamp in the Netherlands. In 2014, she finished her studies of saxophone and contemporary chamber music with Marie-Bernadette Charrier at the Conservatory of Bordeaux, in France.
