I was the 2024 laureat of the Foundation Casino Barrier Award for talent and creativity and a 2018 winner of the Zimbabwean National Arts Council's National Arts Merit Award (NAMA). This is where I got to take lessons with some of the most important singers and pianists in the business, in such an inspiring city. After living in Berlin for 2 years, I spent 6 months in New York, before coming to Switzerland in September 2019 to finish my master's degree in lyric singing at the Haute École de Musique. Apart from my training, I have already sung recitals and festivals in Berlin, New York, Los Angeles, Brussels and Vienna. I also participated in many international singing competitions; in Europe and the United States. I am especially passionate about classical music, specifically opera, but at the same time I also adore jazz, musical, and all other genres.

For any singing practice, whether variety singing (pop, rock) or opera singing, part of the singing course should ideally incorporate practical work on technique and vocal anatomy. I therefore propose to start by warming up the body and the voice, which allows you to connect to yourself, to your breath. Gradually, the intensity rises, we are therefore heated, and we can then approach the pieces that the student wishes to learn. Vocalization is for me a moment with oneself, a kind of mindfulness meditation. Singing causes a very enjoyable inner vibration. Sometimes I like to start with music that inspires the student and build technical work through that. My lessons contain a "music theory" part that I adapt according to the needs and desires of each student. The more the student is aware of his body and his breath, the more he will have control of his voice, and therefore, always more joy! Being a pianist myself, I accompany the warm-up exercises on the piano, which gives considerable support to the student, as well as the songs and pieces that the student is working on.

I am open to all styles of music, be it jazz, rock, pop, R&B, hip-hop, or any other form of music that inspires you. I often use the piano as an accompaniment tool for singing exercises, and I can even teach you how to play the piano to accompany you.

In addition to singing lessons, I also give lessons in music theory and MAO (Computer Aided Music) on Logic Pro. These additional skills can help you better understand music theory and record your own compositions.
