Free artistic drawing workshops for children

Anyone can learn to draw! I've seen many beginners blossom and gain confidence over time :) I teach drawing and painting classes with my partner OLi in our studio in the center of Lausanne. The classes are individualized but group, which means you can start at any time of the year. You will follow a program tailored to you, while following the structure of a method created by my partner and myself, which is the fusion of our two approaches and experiences in the field. Our courses are aimed at adults, teenagers and children from 8 years old. Looking forward to meeting you!

The purpose of this course is to acquire among others: - the basic techniques to succeed your photos using a DSLR, a compact or with a smartphone. - know how to analyze your photos and select the right photo, - how to use your SLR, - learn to watch - build a story in photo - use of social networks -etc the progress and the points approached are of course adaptable according to your desires and your level

Graduate of ECAL in ArtsVisuels, as well as the preparatory school of fine art in the city of Paris, I offer my services to learn how to do drawing observation, cultivate creativity, learn the practice of watercolor, of Indian ink. I also give volunteer drawing lessons every Wednesday afternoon for children and adults, and am therefore able to work with young and old, all levels combined. Whether for introductory courses, awakening sessions with children, or for the specific request of a project to achieve. Art is an integral part of my life and it is with pleasure that I try to share his practice. I have my own art practice next door, where I mainly do sculpture. I also teach sculpture classes, and introductory courses in my workshop.

I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

I'll be teaching you the subjects I can see you have most difficulty with - be it figure drawing, perspective, concept art or even going back to fundamentals as a reminder. I do both traditional and digital art, so I can also teach you how to move from one media to another without fear! Before our first lesson - Do you have time for homework? - Do you prefer a more objective explanation as opposed to a more detailed one? - Do you prefer learning all the theory first and then practicing later all at once, or to take it in small chunks? - How experienced are you in art? - Do you prefer a more casual class or one that challenges you every time? Just a tiny PSA - if you're starting out from the very beginning with the fundamentals, please bear with me for a couple of classes because it will probably be super boring at first!
