Hello, My name is Clément, I am a professional musician and drum and percussion teacher. I am a graduate of the Haute Ecole des Arts du Rhin in Strasbourg and holder of the State Diploma, I am currently continuing my journey at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne in Master Performer Composer Jazz. During my career, I had the opportunity to play in several contexts (solo, chamber music band, orchestra) and to be able to immerse myself in different musical aesthetics. (classical, jazz, current, world) This taste for diversity, which is part of my personality, is partly what I want to pass on to my students. Another important axis in my eyes in learning an artistic practice is based on the concept of creation, which allows the development of the imagination. For the drums, in line with your wishes and the objectives that we will have put in place, we can explore the different styles. (rock, funk, jazz, latin, metal..) For example, here are some concepts that we will work on: - coordination and independence - develop their musicality and groove - technique and sound - rhythm and reading on score We can also approach classical percussions (keyboards, skins...) and world percussions (Brazilian, Cuban and African). We will of course work on the technique specific to each instrument, some notions of musical theory necessary for a good practice, the whole aiming at musicality and expression. Another challenge is to acquire autonomy and regularity in the practice of the instrument outside of class. I also offer music theory and theory lessons, as well as improvisation and jazz harmony lessons open to all instruments. The courses I offer are aimed at both children and adults. For more information, do not hesitate to contact me, I will be happy to answer you. I hope to have the opportunity to meet you and introduce you to this beautiful universe so that you can have fun while progressing.

With 15 regular students, children and adults, from beginner to advanced level, I prioritize work focused on different objectives. Technique, the relationship between the body and the instrument, and independence exercises are as important as listening and exploring certain pieces in depth. With a little practice, you will quickly acquire the keys you need to be able to enjoy playing the styles of music you prefer. The online download platform is available to students already registered, with a large selection of pieces, scores, exercises (independence, grooves, techniques, etc.), as well as all administrative documents. I already have extensive touring and teaching experience and hold a Bachelor's degree in educational guidance from the Lausanne Jazz Conservatory. I also offer drum masterclasses in various music schools, stores or concert halls, during which I share different concepts related to my musical world.

Master of Science in Physics (EPF); experience of teaching math at the gym as alternate; The program is based on excises and explains the theory through the examples. Evidence and derivations will only be part of our program if the students / students explicitly wish to do so or if they are treated in class and essential to pass the exams. The goal is to understand a complex subject using easy calculations and to be ready for exams. I do not intend to do a frontal teaching as we know it in school. It is important that we work together on a problem and that we can solve several problems of the same kind. If you wish, we can speak in English or German (my native language) during class. This can allow you to very easily become familiar with a foreign language. The relaxed atmosphere in a non-school setting can accelerate the learning of a new language, as no one (except me - and I'll forget about it right now) will notice mistakes.

Ever found yourself shaking when you had to speak in front of several strangers? Do you want to improve your public speaking skills, for work, for personal satisfaction? My profile: - EPFL student - 2nd place winner for the 2017 MUN EPFL public speaking competition - experience in Model United Nations (public speaking simulation activity) since 2015 - mother tongue English speaker - super friendly, will NOT make you feel embarrassed!!

The vocal technique (mixed voice) that I will teach you, will allow you to interpret your favorite songs that you can hear on the radio with ease and fluency and by accompanying you your guitar will entertain and impress your friends in the evenings! My goal will be to reach yours! :) Organic : A trumpet player with the Pully band for many years, I gained my musical experience at the Pully Music School. I was passionate about acoustic guitar at the age of 14 and I trained myself as an autodidact with my already acquired musical knowledge. I then wanted to improve my vocal technique and it was through the vocal programs of Brett Manning (Singing Success) and the advice of his associates that I could improve my voice considerably. I am currently a member of the IVTOM International voice teacher of mix to train me more precisely on the scientific aspect of the voice.

The 5 string banjo is an amazing instrument. It's driving trademark sound and it's African roots has contributed to many music traditions, including Country, Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz and world music. In my class you'll first learn the basics, how to hold and pick and read tablatures. We'll then go through how to play a tune, accompany other instruments and finally, improvise. During the year I'll teach you basic music theory like rhythm, harmony and a bit of ear training to help you develop your understanding and relationship to the instrument. We'll mainly play Bluegrass Scruggs style at first, then we'll dive into melodic style and sigle string, that will all be useful for playing other kinds of music, like Irish music, Pop, Jazz or Blues. Any requests for a personalised class is welcome. If you'd like inspiration or you want to listen to so fun music, go check out my website !
