About Me
My name is Graciela. I am a soprano, a graduate of the music academies in Würzburg and Nuremberg and the Mexican Conservatory, with further training in the USA, Italy, and the Czech Republic. I was a finalist in several international singing competitions and am a prize winner of the International Rheinsberg Singing Competition (Berlin), the International Haldenstein Singing Competition (Chur), the National Singing Competition of Mexican Concert Music, and the Feurich Chamber Music Competition in Vienna.
Besides my concert activities, I am passionate about teaching!
Singing is the voice of the soul, a special way of self-discovery and the most beautiful way to connect people.
Let me guide your voice into the wonderful world of singing!

Experience / Qualifications
During my training in Mexico and Europe, I received numerous scholarships, including the Award for Outstanding Young Artists from the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA), the Offenbach Operetta Studio under the direction of André Dos Santos, the Live Music Now Foundation of Yehudi Menuhin, the DAAD and the Richard Wagner Association.
I have been a soloist with various orchestras, such as the Youth Camerata of Veracruz, the Frankfurt Symphony Orchestra, and the Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra.
I have extensive experience in the opera scene in Mexico and Europe. In Germany, I made my debut as Violetta Valéry in Giuseppe Verdi's "La Traviata" at the Rheinsberg Festival in Brandenburg. In Switzerland, I debuted as Konstanze in Mozart's "Die Entführung aus dem Serail" with the Graubünden Chamber Philharmonic. My operatic repertoire also includes roles such as Adina from Donizetti's "L'elisir d'amore," the Governess in Britten's "The Turn of the Sun," and others.
I also regularly perform with my own music projects. In 2016, I founded the Cantera Ensemble with pianist Holger Berndsen, with which I promote Latin American art songs. In 2018, as a scholarship recipient of the Académie de Villecroze, I founded the RIANDO LiedDuo with Tatiana Orloff, with whom we won first prize at the Feurich International Chamber Music Competition in Vienna in 2019.
I want to pass on my enthusiasm for singing to the next generations. My technique has been shaped by collaborations with various artists such as Brigitte Fassbaender, Juliane Banse, Irwin Gage, Helmut Deutsch, Brigitte Geller, Magdalena Hajóssyová, Hedwig Fassbender, Eva Randová and Mariella Devia.
