I completed my Bachelor of Music in viola performance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag with a minor in Music Education. At the same time, I have a certificate in teaching artistry from a certificate program called ‘The Global Leaders Program, where for my fieldwork assignment, I traveled to Chile and Jamaica and there I taught music intensively to kids who are underserved. I believe that a good teacher is one who is open to learning (because learning never stops) and who has experience in various situations. I am a very experienced teacher with an open mind and I am here to help you or your kid to learn an instrument in the most effective and fun way.

About Me

My name is Kardelen and I am a performing artist and teacher. I was born and raised in Turkey, and started playing the violin at the age of 8 years old. The moment I started classical music, I fell in love with it. For me the passion came from the music itself rather than the instrument. I learned to listen and find my voice through the violin. At the age of 12 I got into the full time conservatory in Istanbul where I switched to viola. The reason I switched to the viola is that when I listened to the deep sound that the instrument created, I felt like it awakened something that was part of me. That was the moment when I found my instrument!

Education

I completed my Master of music in Performance and Pedogogy at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag with a minor in Music Education. At the same time I have a certificate in teaching artistry from a certificate program called ‘The Global Leaders Program, where for my fieldwork assignment, I traveled to Chile and Jamaica and there I taught music intensively to kids that are underserved. I believe that a good teacher is the one who is open to learning (because learning never stops) and who has an experience in various situations. I am a very experienced teacher with an open mind and I am here to help you or your kid to learn an instrument with the most effective and fun way.

I have been teaching regularly the past five years. Teaching and education have been my passion since the very beginning of my own music education. I saw first hand that instruction of high quality can bring extraordinary potential out of just about everyone. I have played the violin for over 20 years and am currently doing a master ́s of music in violin. Music is my passion, I have been teaching violin for 5 years, in music schools as well as privately from the ages of 7 to 60.
My aim in teaching is to enable the student to experience the beauty, richness and also the fun side of music, by helping to develop the technical skills needed to express oneself on the violin. I find it very important to take into account the personal goals and wishes of the student and to create an atmosphere of encouragement, creativity and mutual understanding.

Anna was born in Riga, Latvia. She was seven years old when she received her first violin lessons. From the age of 14 she began to study in Riga in "Emila Dārziņā" Music College with Professor Ludmilla Girskaja.
During her studies she takes part in various competitions such as "Latvian Talents" first prize and "Dvarionas" competition in Lithuania, also master course with Vadim Gluzman
After completing her studies in Riga with distinction, she began her further studies in Vienna in 2003 with Professor Jan Pospichal, the concertmaster of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.
In 2011 she completed her master's degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Since 2011 she has been playing in various orchestras (Tonkünstler Orchestra, Strauss Festival Orchestra, Vienna Cathedral Orchestra, Klagenfurt Symphony Orchestra). Her love for teaching began during her student days in Vienna. She teaches a lot for children and also helps various musicians preparing for auditions, including online. Classes are held in German, English, Russian and Latvian.

Hallo, my name is Chloe Slane, and I am currently finishing my degree in college right now studying abroad in Berlin. I have played the viola since I was 8 years old, and started on the violin at 6. I am currently getting both a music degree in Viola Performance and a Philosophy degree, in a 5-year Double Major Program through a school in New York.
