Whether you are picking up the violin for the first time or looking to improve your skills, the purpose of my lessons is to inspire, challenge and support you on your musical path.

For me, combining technical foundations with expression is the way teach the student to truly make music.

The lessons are individually tailored to your needs, so that you always have a clear understanding of the process.

Together we will build confidence, creativity and a deep connection with the violin.

The instrument has to be arranged by the student. If need be, I’ll assist finding a suitable violin!

About Me

Professional violinist based in Groningen

I graduated from Navarra’s Music Conservatory and continued my postgraduate studies at the Prins Claus Conservatoire in Groningen.

I am passionate about sharing my experience and knowledge in the class room and provide fresh inspiration in every lesson.

I believe in the importance of education, which is why I’m always searching for new methods tailored to each student.
I have received guidance from some of the most renowned violinists and pedagogues, including Antal Zalai, Kati Sebestyén, and José Manuel Álvarez Losada, among others.

I have extensive orchestral experience: I have collaborated with the Navarra Symphony Orchestra and the Noordpool Orchestra, and have been a member of Jong Metropole and the Euskadiko Gazte Orchestra.

As a versatile violinist, able to adapt to all styles, I have also had the pleasure of performing with renowned rock bands such as Sôber, as well as with pop artists like Pablo López and at the music festival Classic vs Pop v.5, performing in German theaters such as those in Meppen, Papenburg, and Lingen.

You will learn to play your favorite songs, classical pieces or anything you wish. You will know how to read a music score. If you are a beginner, don't be afraid to send me a message, I will teach you from the basics. If you can play already, I am happy to practice with you and help you to bring your skills to a higher level. I have been teaching for many years and I'm currently working as a "violin group leader" in the Noord Nederlands Orkest. My experience has led me around the world in contact with the greatest masters of the violin.

Violin and music have been the most important thing in my life and sharing my passion have always been a treasure to me.

Instead of just playing alone on the lessons, throughout pieces for two violin with the teacher's involvement (me) you can learn several musical and technical aspects of this beautiful instrument :) . I am offering lessons for all ages and level as I have various experiences. Also if you are an adult (complete beginner/restarter) don't hesitate to contact me as my motto is: never too late to start to play the violin.

I give violin lessons (also viola) for children and adults. During the first lesson we will first get acquainted and I will explain about the posture and we will first make sound. It is important to first learn the basics well (rhythm, reading notes, posture and more), I always give nice songs and if students prefer to learn to play something that is always allowed. If the student can already play then we look together for the repertoire.
It is also important to practice regularly, you don't have to do much, 10 minutes a day works fine as long as it is regular.
I play more classical music myself, but I can of course also play modern well-known songs.

I offer violin lessons to students of all ages. My approach is based off the Vivaldi Method combined with elements of the Suzuki. I have taught violin students for the past four years in the United States with the Vivaldi Method developed by violin pedagogue Ida Bieler. I have taught pre-school (age 4-5), middle and high school students (age 11-18), and also adults. I accept students of all ages and my approach is based off the Vivaldi Method combined with elements of the Suzuki. I work with students step-by-step on technique and music together in order to build a natural and aware way of playing that is suited to the individual’s anatomy and joy of playing the violin.
