Can you get the audience's attention if they take out their phones? Do you feel nervous when presenting at work? Do you modulate your voice enough and use your body to communicate passion and professionalism? I will help you prepare your presentation and train you to say it with confidence in 3 sessions. You will improve your stage presence, your non-verbal communication on video and, most importantly, what makes you most nervous: your connection with the audience. You'll improvise and prepare, and we'll add some humor and parts where you'll engage with the audience. You will learn that it is normal to be nervous, because as humans we fear rejection and public speaking threatens our safety. Once you understand that your fear is normal and we explore the "worst case scenario", you will start to enjoy the presentation because you will focus on the audience's experience and you can be sure that your content is good enough that they will not be afraid. throw tomatoes for a bad performance. Many exercises will be done so that you lose that intense fear of failure. This is why people don't make videos and don't talk. Fear of rejection and impostor syndrome. As a Gestalt Psychotherapy therapist, I will train your body to act spontaneously, fail quickly, and adapt to the public. Hello there, I’m a science and environmental teacher with 7 years of teaching experience both in U.K. and Spain. I have taught students through GCSE, IGCSES, IB and A-Levels in biology. I am quite friendly and students warm up to me quite quickly and that’s when we can do our best work. Once students trust that my best interest is to help them through their studies, they relax and start to feel more confident to learn and see their potential for improvement. Get in touch and we can work out how I can be of assistance.

Hello everyone, I give private lessons in saxophone, music theory, composition, improvisation and piano rudiments. My name is Beatrice, I am from Italy and I am 26 years old. I tell you a little about myself. I trained as a classical musician at the Music School of Fiesole, Florence, on saxophone and piano. After a two-year experience at the CAM School of Music in Florence, in 2015 I moved to Valencia to carry out an Intensive Intermediate Jazz Workshop in the Sedajazz musicians' collective with the teachers Alexey León and Jesús Santandreu. I graduated in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation while doing musical projects with various Florentine groups, studying saxophone with Maestro Claudio Giovagnoli. In 2021 I came to Spain for the Master's Degree in Music as an interdisciplinary art of UB/ESMUC/URV. I graduate in September 2022 with thesis ''Music as a tool for the deconstruction of traditional binary power structures: a journey through gender, body and voice''. For the last year I have wanted to experiment musically with the EWI 4000s Electronic Wind Synthesizer. I am now attending a music production course on Ableton Live.

Lessen ook beschikbaar in het Nederlands! In my classes I always seek to maintain a balance between the development of basic knowledge, composition techniques and creativity. These are the three fundamental pillars that any person dedicated to composition needs. Basic knowledge: Many are afraid of learning "too much" theory, because they believe that it can kill creativity. But what I precisely want to teach in my classes is a practical approach, where theoretical knowledge serves to further develop creativity. Composition techniques: Each class I give small composition tasks, things that can be developed in the time you have available between classes, where we will explore different composition techniques and how they can be applied within the musical language that you want to develop. Creativity: We work here in two ways, the first is on a project you are working on, for example a piece for your own instrument, a project for a competition or entrance exam, a song, etc. The second way is through improvisation exercises on your instrument. We will do this together, since I play violin and piano. With this we are seeing how to give space to musical intuition, to be able to capture ideas and then concretize them in a composition. These three elements are present in each class, which is usually divided into 20-minute sections, so a lesson usually lasts 1 hour.
