I myself am 34 and have swum through some musical waters. I have (had) bands in quite a few musical styles (from Metal to Funk to Hardrock to Blues to Classical to Soul to Jazz, ...).

Because I also did music school, I also had the theoretical background that I could link to the rock content I had at the time. An interesting combination that has given me the opportunity to study music at PXL-Music in Hasselt.

Emiliano Della Giovanna was born into music. Born into an artistic family in Naples, Emiliano practiced guitar and drums in his youth. His passion for drums drives him to enroll in private music schools, where he is taught by several renowned musicians, including names such as Billy Cobham, Peter Erskine, Dave Weckl and Gregg Bissonette.
In 2006 Emiliano specializes in Jazz and is accepted at the conservatory in Siena, called Seminario Senesi di Musica Jazz. His talent is appreciated. He receives a scholarship to continue his studies at the seminar for Nuoro Jazz in Sardinia. In addition to his studies, he collaborates with Mr. Umberto Guarino and establishes a music school "Studio 40" in Naples. Here he teaches drum and rhythmic music theory.

I am Jess, a musician and producer from Ghent, graduated as a bachelor in music at PXL Hasselt. In the meantime I have been teaching guitar for 10 years at music studios and in the form of private lessons at home. Besides teaching I have my own project called Monagi and I write/produce for bands like Tout Va Bien and Patches. I also play guitar at TheShadow Machine. I'm an electric guitarist for 17 years. I've been teaching guitar for 7 years and performin live for 10 years. Currently, I'm a masters student at KASK & Conservatorium.

Depending on your preferences in terms of genre and goals on the instrument (just keeping it as a hobby or getting professional at it), your curriculum will be shaped. Also it will be conducted while studying your favorite songs. One of my main goals is for you to be able to accompany your favorite pieces and understand the ideas behind those pieces better.
