Hello! I am María, cellist from Spain. This is my last year studying Master of Performance at the Royal Conservatory of Gent and the 15th playing cello. I have experience playing with La Chapelle Sauvage, Brussels Philarmonic Orchestra, Haydn-Orchestra, Beigbeder Orchestra.

I would love to help you to improve your music skills with cello. I am a flexible teacher, I want to know your interest and work with the best methodology for you. There is only one rule: enjoy the music!

The students age 3 can also start playing the violin or the viola.

I have been a cellist for years and gained a lot of experience over the years. I am a replacement for the Philharmonic, the National Orchestra of Belgium and the Symphony Orchestra of Flanders. I am also a regular cellist in various projectors and I play in St.Grandson, a band that won the new generation last year.

I am eager to share the knowledge I have acquired and to help students who are really interested in advancing in the world of the cello, both musically and technically, as well as to transmit to my students the versatility of our instrument and its beauty.

I focus especially on the relaxation of the body in order to find a good quality sound. Starting with a methodology adapted to the level of the student, together we can make great progress in the subject!

I have 4+ years worth of experience teaching online/in person, in multiple countries, as well as a C1 Cambridge certificate of English. I also have a B1 level of Nederlands. I have music articles published as well.

My philosophy of teaching is to teach my students in a comprehensive way how to use their body 100% efficiently.
