We are a couple of tango dancers with more than 15 years of experience in teaching in Europe, Buenos Aires in Argentina and Montevideo in Uruguay.

Our teaching combines elements of traditions and culture from the Rio de la Plata area together with biomechanics and analysis of movement. Our private classes are for couples and/or individuals, and the lessons will be tailored according to your needs and interests.

Our pedagogy is encouraging, fun, and efficient. We also teach very popular group classes in the center of Geneva, let us know if you are interested in them! :)

ORGANIZATION OF COLLECTIVE COURSES
Classes will be conducted only with the participation of a minimum of 5 couples.
Each lesson lasts one and a half hours.
To ensure a course that meets your needs, we will close registrations with up to 15 couples per course.
It is better to register as a couple to balance the group. The tango couple is defined by the chosen roles, a guide and a guide; they can be indifferently mixed or unisex. If nevertheless you can not find anyone, contact us, we will put you on the waiting list.

Each year is divided into three periods:

Period 1: September - December
Period 2: January - March
Period 3: April - June.

The periods are structured in an organic way and the
participation in the three periods of the current year allows
to acquire the elements necessary for his own level of tango.

The school is closed during the school holidays.

Private tango classes for adults in Geneva: beginners, intermediate and advanced. Courses can be taught in French, English or Spanish. You can come in couple or alone, the courses will be adapted to your level and your specific needs.

A Uruguayan national born in the Tango culture, I am a tango professional with over 20 years of experience teaching tango in Europe, Buenos Aires, Argentina and Uruguay.

My pedagogy combines the elements of tradition and tango culture with the principles of biomechanics and body awareness, always remaining encouraging, playful and effective.

I adapt to the needs of the students, so that they progress as quickly as possible.

My goal is to transmit you during the lessons, solid bases and methods which will allow you to develop your dance, so that you can express yourself freely while having your style.

Oriental dance is a dance of Egyptian origin, which includes many styles. Originally, it was a spontaneous and improvised dance, but today it is taught academically all over the world.

It is traditionally practiced by women, who express by this art their femininity, their vitality, but also their feelings, joys and sorrows. In general, this dance is characterized by the dissociation of the parts of the body (isolations) that can move independently of one another. Oriental dance is as good with jerky rhythms as slow and fluid.

Bellydance is not limited to movements of the pelvis: it solicits flexibility and tonicity of the bust, shoulders, arms, hands, pelvis and belly. It helps tone the thighs, relax the joints, develop the abdominals and maintain the back. Most of the work resides in the muscular contraction, this dance can be practiced at any age, in the respect of the limits of each dancer or dancer.

The course begins with a joint and muscle warm-up, followed by technical work. The basic movements are then integrated into sequences that allow you to move in space and experience the pleasure of dancing, before ending with a session of relaxation.

Having experienced first-hand the power of dance to shape people’s perspectives, I am enthusiastic about using my professional experiences, skills, and beliefs to educate new young dancers in the techniques, movements, and experiences of dance. I am also just as enthusiastic to share that beauty and power with the community, with recreational adult classes as well.

About how I teach, and why I started; I was looking for dance that was fun, liberating, and yet artistically challenging, all at the same time; I craved something that brought and demanded a more humane experience inside of the studio. My interest at the moment is to use our human experiences and bodies as they are. I’m not so interested in trying to force them into something else, but to allow that freedom to take us to whatever imaginary or fantastical place where dance should be able to take us. I believe my obligation as a dance teacher is to encourage students to have fun when dancing. It’s something that’s forgotten a lot as a budding artist, but one of the most important things for perseverance in this field.

I believe that if the curiosity, imagination, and enjoyment is there, the technique will come as well because there’s a mutual belief, from both the teacher and student, in oneself. Of course to learn a variety of dance styles, be technically proficient, and pursue a personal creative expression is important, but having an experience with a group of people and letting go into imagination while allowing yourself to have fun will push a dancer even further in their artistry, I believe. To be able to be given images, sensations, feelings, etc. and have the awareness to translate them into some form of movement is an important skill as an artist and human being

Formerly a student at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris as well as at the Junior Ballet in Geneva, I have been a classical, contemporary and modern jazz dance teacher since 2019 in Switzerland and neighboring France.
I taught at the "Danse Evasion" school (Cugy, VD) for amateurs (from the age of 4 to adults) the following techniques: classical, contemporary, jazz, parent-child dance, yoga and Pilates. Subsequently I taught dance for pre-pro training at the "Ecole de danse de la Côte" (Morges, VD) the following techniques: classical and contemporary.
In April 2022 I obtained the Technical Aptitude Examination in classical dance and since September 2022 I have been a student in a pedagogical Bachelor's degree with the aim of obtaining the state diploma of classical dance teacher.

Following my journey and my desire to continue and perfect my transmission, I offer my services in order to transmit the art and passion of dance for you.

-Bachelor 1 student at the Haute École de Musique de Genève offering private cello and piano lessons from beginner to intermediate level in order to help students in their musical learning.
-Also practicing dance for 14 years, having worked in Josette Baïz's junior company and having won a silver medal at the national dance meetings, I offer private lessons in classical and contemporary dance for students who would like to improve their technique and creativity.
