👰 Do you dream of a magical first dance at your wedding? 🤵 Want to impress your guests with a dance they'll never forget? Hello everybody ! My name is Evelyn and I am a passionate dancer from Peru currently living in Geneva. I invite you to participate in my dance classes for weddings. I have experience creating custom choreographies for weddings and special events. If you have a choreography in mind, feel free to share it and we will learn it together! My main goal is to make you feel comfortable, because for me dance is a way to express yourself and live your life to the fullest. I want my students to enjoy each step without feeling forced and to experience the pleasure of moving to the rhythm. I will do my best to adapt to my schedule and prioritize your rehearsals. This class would include: 1. Personalized choreography and changes (all styles: salsa, bachata, merengue, rock, ballroom, tango, modern, waltz). 2. Private lessons for both of you. 3. Personalized video tips so you can practice at home (the complete choreography and necessary parts of the choreography with musical references and lyrics to know when to start a step). 4. All other personalized or online courses.

Dance Classes from Professional contemporary dancerTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Having experienced first-hand the power of dance to shape people’s perspectives, I am enthusiastic about using my professional experiences, skills, and beliefs to educate new young dancers in the techniques, movements, and experiences of dance. I am also just as enthusiastic to share that beauty and power with the community, with recreational adult classes as well. About how I teach, and why I started; I was looking for dance that was fun, liberating, and yet artistically challenging, all at the same time; I craved something that brought and demanded a more humane experience inside of the studio. My interest at the moment is to use our human experiences and bodies as they are. I’m not so interested in trying to force them into something else, but to allow that freedom to take us to whatever imaginary or fantastical place where dance should be able to take us. I believe my obligation as a dance teacher is to encourage students to have fun when dancing. It’s something that’s forgotten a lot as a budding artist, but one of the most important things for perseverance in this field. I believe that if the curiosity, imagination, and enjoyment is there, the technique will come as well because there’s a mutual belief, from both the teacher and student, in oneself. Of course to learn a variety of dance styles, be technically proficient, and pursue a personal creative expression is important, but having an experience with a group of people and letting go into imagination while allowing yourself to have fun will push a dancer even further in their artistry, I believe. To be able to be given images, sensations, feelings, etc. and have the awareness to translate them into some form of movement is an important skill as an artist and human being

📌It doesn't always take two for things to work... To begin to connect, assimilate and experiment with new KNOWLEDGE, the most IMPORTANT thing is the body, the attitude, perseverance and a great pinch of confidence! I always like to approach the codes of different dance disciplines, based on structures that work on the physical, rhythmic, and creative aspects. There is an idea that Tango is difficult to learn, and of course if we approach it with that label, it will be that way. Starting from the main concept of tango, WALKING, something that we all do most of the time, dancing tTANGO is within everyone's reach.🤗 Another very important point is the way to assimilate and understand it 😉😅 ❤️‍🔥What will the classes be like, you ask? I'll tell you a little bit, we are going to develop the structure in the work of weight changes, the step, projection of the walk, the pivot, understanding the kinesphere individually and as a couple translated into the hug, the turns and the spiral torso to understand the momentum in various exercises, the eights so famous in tango, the basic step and universal exit, walks with the concept of lanes and much more from various sequences that familiarize you with the technical needs to be able to perform the steps without leaving aside the dynamics, pulse, accent and compas of the tango. Everything will be raised in the background in a more organic way. It's not just about learning individual steps, and then...what do we do 🧐? It is not the form that should take the leading role, but the way in which you express that form. We will also let your creative and playful side be part of the process, through a tool that I consider very valuable, which is improvisation 👌 since it allows you to find your own style and recognize your strengths and weaknesses to continue growing in your passion for dance. With all these tools, entering the world of more complex sequences and why not, creating your own, will be one more step and not an impossible challenge to achieve.🤩 Don't forget that the steps that are known today and a large part of the sequences emerged from a restless and creative mind, which explored synonymous with IMPROVISE❗️ Let's go through the process together and hold each other in a hug.

We took a 5-hour dance course with Evy to prepare for our wedding, and it was one of the best decisions we made! Neither of us had much dance experience, but Evy was patient, supportive, and made the whole experience fun and relaxed. She helped us feel confident on the dance floor and turned our first dance into a special moment we’ll never forget. We’re so grateful for her guidance and would highly recommend her to any couple getting ready for their big day!

Victoria is an efficient, communicative and professional teacher. After one lesson I felt ready to commit to a regular schedule studying Ukrainian. Would recommend
