Piano lessons given in your home by experienced teacher. I have taught children and adults piano for over 20 years (first in New York, then Paris and now I am starting in Geneva). While a classical pianist, I am happy to teach any style of music because my primary goal is for the students to enjoy themselves. Music is a gift that we can all appreciate. Having university degrees in music history and theory, I always include basic music fundamentals so that the student is knowledgeable and proficient as a musician.

About Me

I have many years of teaching experience of have had lots of students from different backgrounds and levels of musicianship. I am a patient, creative and dedicated teacher. Music is something that you can pursue for your whole life, and it should be a pleasure. There are so many great pieces that one can learn to play so why not start or continue now. It is a great way to unwind and relax, and it has been proven that reading music is good for the brain.

Professional singer (soprano colorature) graduated from the Tirana Academy of Arts, winner of the International Lyric Song Contest of Prishtina in the solo category as well as many other national competitions (in Albania) gives singing lessons in Carouge.

Professor of music in several Geneva institutions, member of the Operami troupe and singer-soloist of the Electrum & Elisir group, she participated in the Euro Song Contest 2014 and recorded her voice for the Swiss artist Sky76 on her last two albums.

This course is aimed at students of all levels who really want to progress in learning to sing for a fun or professional purpose. The musical styles that can be approached range from classical music to radio music (pop, soul, rock, house, etc.) and folk music.

Knowledge of music theory, although useful, is not mandatory. In case of need bases of music theory will be addressed in class.

As a violinist: I am currently a student at the Geneva University of Music, after having followed the pre-professional course at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève. During my career, I won several prizes such as the Vatelot Rampal competition in Paris and the Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland soloist, and string quartet (alongside Julie Berthollet in particular). I also attended the Indianapolis University Academy summer internship.

As a Pedagogue: in addition to sporadically giving individual lessons for 4 years, I was part of the "Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland" youth and youth internship team for three consecutive years.

Overall, my goal is to allow my students to have fun making music, to express themselves as they wish and hear, with their instrument!
I adapt the rhythm of my teaching, my teaching materials, the choice of songs to each, according to the requests that are made to me. My classes can also take the status of personal work support; in this case, students can obviously bring me their scores worked with their main teacher, or those they play in chamber music / orchestra.

In short: The violin is an art, it learns yes, but we play! :)

Hello!

I'm an award-winning Canadian classical pianist and experienced teacher offering piano lessons for all levels, beginner to advanced. I have performed with orchestra and has a soloist in various festivals across Canada, Germany, Austria, Spain and Switzerland, in addition to being a prize winner in numerous competitions, as well as the recipient of numerous grants and awards.

At the moment I am studying at the magistracy of the composition department in Haute école de musique de Genève. In addition, I already have two full educations - choral (secondary) and composer (higher). I graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory as a composer, took part in concerts and competitions in Russia, France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland as a choir singer or pianist. I have been immersed in music, and particularly the piano, for over 40 years. I was trained by concert professors, who were themselves trained by the greatest (my own professor's piano teacher was taught by Alfred Cortot). I learned music theory at the Conservatoire and harmony and counterpoint at the HEM in Geneva. At the same time, I have a Bachelor's degree in Musicology from the Université des Lettres de Genève. This allows me not only to teach the essential basics of music to students, but also to place each style and each composer in its historical context. This greatly facilitates learning.

I teach all types of music, from classical to modern pop, including film music and more recent composers like Ludovico Einaudi. My goal is to give the student a good harmonic foundation and a good musical ear so that they can be independent in what they want to play and always have the pleasure of sitting down at the piano!
My classes are aimed at beginners of all ages (children or adults) with no musical knowledge, as well as advanced students or those who want to prepare for theoretical or practical exams. The scores will always be chosen in agreement with the student, according to their objectives and desired progress, mixing all musical styles (classical, pop, film music, etc.) so that they always have fun playing their instrument. Each student is unique, which is why each lesson is prepared individually to meet their aspirations or objectives.
