About Me

I am a married 36 year old artist and English teacher. English and Hebrew are my two mother tongues. Growing up bilingual gave me an analytical perspective on the English language besides the natural one of native speakers. This means that I am able to understand as well the difficulties of learning this language by others. I have spent many many hours helping people and encouraging them to speak English with me, both in formal and informal settings. I have a lot of practice and talent in getting a good conversation going which is, in my opinion, the most important aspect of English conversation skills. I am a very curious and attentive listener which means that you will be confident in the flow of our conversation. I love humor and this is usually the mood in which my private lessons are held. I believe taking a light approach to language learning, relieves the stress that students might have and allows them easier access to what they already know of in the English language.

Hello everyone and welcome to my English and or German lessons taught in group. I organise English and German lessons for children and teenagers and separately adult English group lessons (beginners to advanced). For children and teenagers, interactive activities are used as a way to motivate them, help them remember what they have learned in class and make sure they will be able to apply their language skills in real life context.
For the adults lessons, depending on what the students are willing to learn, we can have discussions based on the news, some grammar, writing... I am open to any suggestions, just tell me your needs and I am going to adapt the next lessons for you. Currently in my final year of a Master's degree in Chinese studies, I speak four languages (French, Dutch, English and Chinese) and I had the opportunity to live and study for a year in Beijing, at the 外交学院 (China Foreign Affairs University).
