Learn contemporary piano and keyboard in practical, enjoyable one-to-one lessons tailored to your goals. Suitable for children, teenagers and adults, from beginner to intermediate level, lessons focus on the music you enjoy.

We can work on your favourite songs, chords, rhythm, playing by ear, improvisation and building confidence at the keyboard. Music theory is introduced where it helps your playing, with each lesson adapted to your interests and pace.

I taught at the Academy of Contemporary Music for over 20 years and have more than 30 years of professional experience as a keyboard player and musical director, including work with Soul II Soul and The Jacksons. I bring that professional experience into lessons in an encouraging and accessible way.

Lessons are available in Dubai Sports City, with nearby home visits by arrangement.

Dubai lessons available until 14 October and again from 2 November. Enquiries are welcome while I’m away. Please tell me your age, current playing level and the kind of music you would like to learn. For home visits, you will need access to a piano or keyboard.

Over the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of teaching students from diverse nationalities and backgrounds. I have worked with students from various schools, including local Hong Kong schools, Hong Kong International School, Kowloon Junior International School, and the French International School etc.

I am a professional pianist offering private piano lessons to students of all levels. Having 5 years of teaching experience, I enjoy teaching my students with music of their own preferred style and interest. I teach in combination of theory and behind the keys as I believe understanding what is on the page is the fastest way to play the music. My primary goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music during the course of learning piano. I teach so my students can eventually pick up any piece of music and play.
