Hello!

I’m a piano teacher offering structured, engaging, and supportive lessons for children and adults.

I hold piano certification from the British Columbia Conservatory of Music, Canada, and I teach with a patient, organized, and goal-focused approach. My lessons are tailored to each student’s level, pace, and musical interests, whether they are complete beginners or already have experience.

Alongside music, I have an MD from TUMS and a National Gold Medal in the Chemistry Olympiad. This background has strengthened my discipline, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to explain concepts clearly — qualities that help me make piano learning more effective, structured, and enjoyable.

My goal is to help students build confidence, strong technique, musical understanding, and a real enjoyment of playing piano.

Over the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of teaching students from diverse nationalities and backgrounds. I have worked with students from various schools, including local Hong Kong schools, Hong Kong International School, Kowloon Junior International School, and the French International School etc.

I am adaptable and capable of teaching students with different personalities, whether they are highly energetic or more reserved. My primary goal is to instill a passion for music in the next generation, helping students not only grow as musicians but also as confident performers.

I have guided many students to success in ABRSM exams, from Grade 1 to Grade 8, including the latest online exam format. You can learn from scratch if you have no previous experience

For students who have previous experience, we can follow up from the current student’s level.

The course curriculum varies from one student to another depending on his level of education on the instrument.

For students who have no previous experience, we start with special exercises for the right and left hand to play the instrument correctly and comfortably, in addition to learning to read the notes and solfege correctly, and then we continue and gradually increase the degree of difficulty of the exercises until you become able to play any note you want.

I am a still quite young piano teacher from Germany 🇩🇪 and recently moved here to Dubai. In my 17 years of piano experience, I have mainly specialized in classical piano, writing own songs on the piano and improvising. Where my main focus is how to underpin certain emotions, feelings to images (or series, movies etc). I teach you not only the pure technique, but also the theory behind it and the possibility of free piano playing.
