Private lessons in English, German and French

From 58 C$ /h

I first identify the student's gaps and then develop a work plan with him/her. My goal is to encourage students to give the best of themselves while having fun and developing a taste for the language and its culture. I want to remedy their difficulties and above all give them (back) confidence in themselves, because I believe that 70% of the ability to express oneself in another language depends on our self-confidence and/or our abilities. For students who would like to go further, I also give them the opportunity by teaching them the nuances of the language, the "spoken" language or the formal language, mainly in writing... it's according to their wishes.

Above all, I want to meet the expectations of my students and help them improve where they want. Having (had) direct contact with English and German, I also anchor my lessons in the cultural reality of each of these languages by talking about current topics, using new technologies or starting from popular culture to give meaning to what I teach, so that the student sees the direct use he/she can make of his/her language knowledge. After all, in an increasingly globalized world, languages are lived and are no longer just forms frozen in books several years old.
I am therefore focused on the students and, even if I also want to pass on my passion to them, my point of honor is to be able to understand them and understand their real difficulties/desires in order to be able to create a course adapted to each one.

Extra information

I have been teaching for 7 years in upper secondary education and more in private lessons. I have a degree in Germanic languages (English and German) and a teaching qualification (AESS). I lived in Germany for 1.5 years and met English speakers during my stay. I am therefore perfectly trilingual and have a boundless passion for languages. Above all, I want to pass on this passion and help students overcome their difficulties.

I was also an activity leader and section leader at the Patro. So I have experience with children, animation and group management. I am also a dance teacher, which gives me
allows me to practice pedagogy and patience more. Teaching makes me happy and requires skills that I think I have mastered such as constructive communication, understanding others, tolerance, patience, respect, eloquence and "social fiber".

Language is such a powerful tool in your everyday life. Dutch and English are my speciality. I would recommend immersing your children in different languages from an early age. It will be so much easier for them to pick up and use later on in their life. I have taught for many years as a nursery teacher for children from different backgrounds and now I am a ESL teacher. As a mother of 2 trilingual children, I have the ability to adjust to your child's speed of learning and adjusting my lesson plan to their needs and focus span. Interactive learning during playing is the best way to teach young children and toddlers.

I am a Pharmacy student who has been practicing spoken and written English for 17 years, with an advanced C1/C2 level (proficient user/fluent)
I offer help with the understanding and realization of homework to secondary, but also the translation of all types of texts (en / en or en / fr).
I also help to learn the language through various media, to achieve a complete mastery (oral, written, accent).

I would like to share my knowledge and mastery of English for the first time, during one-off or unique lessons. I have already taught high school and university students, which allowed them to pass their end-of-year exam.
Whatever your age, I propose to help you improve your level of English.

Hello everyone and welcome to my English and or German lessons taught in group. I organise English and German lessons for children and teenagers and separately adult English group lessons (beginners to advanced). For children and teenagers, interactive activities are used as a way to motivate them, help them remember what they have learned in class and make sure they will be able to apply their language skills in real life context.
For the adults lessons, depending on what the students are willing to learn, we can have discussions based on the news, some grammar, writing... I am open to any suggestions, just tell me your needs and I am going to adapt the next lessons for you. If you wish to invite your friends and make a group with them, just let me know and I will allocate you a time slot.

For private English lessons, please have a look at my other advertisements. The German lessons are usually for beginners/ intermediate (exceptionally advanced levels in German can be organised only if there is a high-demand).

Don't hesitate to contact me should you have further questions. It would be a huge pleasure to integrate you in one of my classes. :-) Lessons usually last 50 minutes.

Having given lessons in the three languages, I put myself very easily at the level of the student in order to give him all the tools necessary for learning the desired language. The first meeting will be used to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the student in order to find the best remedy to correct the weak points.

I also help with the writing of any document in one of the three languages (end-of-study work, essays, etc.).
