Music 1 in the HSC can be a tricky topic to wrap your head around sometimes. You may feel that some of the exam questions are too open ended or up for interpretation. Rest assured, my tutoring methods will equip students with the tools necessary to approach any music question with an easy to remember formula that ticks all the boxes in the marking criteria.

My name is Edmund, I graduated from St Aloysius college in 2016 with an ATAR of 98.5 and a band 6 in music 1. I was also on the Honour roll in 2016 for students who excel in a particular field, mine being music.

The content of my classes include:
-Explanation of the concepts of music
-in depth research of the concepts
-Exam practice

I am happy to pass on my knowledge of how to acquire these kinds of results to students, both confident or hoping to improve their music 1 skills.

I am an experienced saxophonist, and have a passion for teaching music. I am currently in my last year of high school.
The lessons aim to inspire young musicians through fun and interactive activities.
I have won the Wollongong Eisteddfod and runner up in Sydney.
I have completed grade 6 and am planning on completing grade 8 in the near future. (for my Eisteddfod's I play grade 8 pieces or higher)

I aim to support, encourage and guide my students on their journey of music to discover their unique "voice" and achieve their goals and dreams.

Lessons are tailored to the meet the goals of each student, whether you prefer advance through exams or to learn to sing, play piano whilst singing or write their own songs for personal enjoyment.

I offer individual lessons including:
-Singing (classical, musicals, pop styles)

Lessons are offered in 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and 1 hour duration either at your home at an additional cost, at her home or online at a reduced fee.

I am a Music Theory Teacher and Piano Teacher specialising in composition and performance, preparing students for AMEB, Trinity International, and HSC music exams of all levels.
It is my belief that well-taught music students are not only great musicians, but also outstanding members of society and business. Teaching using both Kodaly and Orff methodologies, as well as my own, Jonathan prepares his students to become not only great musicians, but also understand the underlying foundations of music in order to master their instrument.
The homework assigned is minimal, but will push students to the best of their abilities.

I pride myself in developing an understanding of individual needs and goals for the piano and designing lessons that cater to these. With over twelve years experience learning and playing the piano across a variety of genres and styles, from classical to jazz to swing to contemporary, I will be able to cater to beginners and experienced players alike! My lessons will help you get started on the piano, learn piano theory, piano scales and piano modes. You will learn to improve your counting skills, learn popular songs, develop your improvisational skills and much more!
