Guitar is a wonderful instrument that has served it’s place in music for centuries. From Mozart to Jimi Hendrix to Tim Henson, the guitar, although humble in nature, has a lot to provide! You’ll learn the workings of the Guitar’s features, the string names and basic chords (beginners). If you already know a bit about guitar, then I can help you improve on areas you’ve gotten stuck in and fill gaps in your knowledge. If you’re pro and want to learn something new, aka you’re a jazz guitarist but want to learn a new genre, I can provide you the expertise!

Whether you want to sing for fun, be coached through the ABRSM graded singing exams, or brush up your understanding of music through theory lessons, don't hesitate to get in touch. Singing Ethos: My belief is that everyone can learn to sing when taught properly and holistically and can experience the joy of discovering the unique qualities of their individual voice. This is a joy which I share with my students and why I find teaching so rewarding. My experience is predominantly (but not exclusively) with children and I love to watch as their love for their voice grows. What you can expect: I believe it is important to teach with an emphasis on technique and vocal health, so from the first few lessons students learn about the body and the way the voice works. I address this through exercises and breathing techniques as well as songs appropriate to age and stage; (usually based around the appropriate ABRSM Grades). I strive to create a fun, nurturing environment where learning and confidence can be optimised. I currently study with Sophie Grimmer, a highly respected and accomplished vocal teacher based in London who has performed at venues across Europe and London such as ENO. Therefore everything I teach my own students is informed by the world class tuition I am lucky enough to receive, (but of course adjusted so that it is age appropriate). This ensures that the tuition I give is always current and reflects the ever evolving industry standards for vocal tuition. I look forward to hearing from you! I offer lessons structured towards learning composition and music theory in line with academic syllabuses, with tailored support to specifications of GCSE and A Level Music, alongside free composition exploring the individual's technical and creative needs on an individual basis. I’m a doctoral researcher in Composition at Guildhall School of Music and Drama and have studied composition at both Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal Academy of Music for Undergraduate and Masters level study.

Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else. I am offering Pop, Jazz, Classical singing classes for all levels and ages - basically whoever wants to initiate, improve, or perfect their vocal technique is welcome. I teach both in person and online. I have students from all over the world: Netherlands, France, Japan, Bulgaria, Latvia and more. I have students who sing for pleasure and students who are preparing for auditions and competitions. Feel free and find enjoyment and confidence in singing! In lessons, we will focus on extending the vocal range, breath support, interpretation, as well as learning to read music (if you have no previous musical training). I have over 12 years of teaching experience and I have been working as a Professional Pianist for 7 years now, in 8 different countries (Switzerland, Austria, Iceland, Spain etc.) and on Luxury Cruise Ships (Worldwide). I can show you how to have fun with the piano. If you're a beginner, I can take you right from step one and have you playing familiar songs by the 1st or 2nd lesson. I teach how to prevent Piano Injuries by focusing on proper technique, posture, and practice habits. My professional experience includes coaching students of all levels and ages. I successfully prepared the students with their Piano Exams like ABRSM, Trinity Grade, from grade 1-8, with merits and distinctions, and more advanced exams as well (Performance Diplomas). I teach for the Enjoyment of Music as well. I believe you can learn to play the piano at any age. My oldest student is over 75 years old and my youngest one has 3 years old. They made great progress, I am sure you could do the same. I've never met anyone who didn't have musical abilities! You can be a serious or a recreational player. The only requirement is the willingness to spend some time at the piano. I conduct my lessons using a combination of 4 cameras for optimum visibility, and a quality microphone which my students find very helpful. This allows them to see a very clear visual demonstration alongside my verbal explanation. I can confidently say that Online Lessons are the same as In-Person Lessons. CURRICULUM I do not believe one method works for all students. I have used many different lesson books and resources over the years. For beginners I like to use Alfred method books for basics concepts and for Classical and Jazz Piano technique I like to use ABRSM books (grade 1-8). If my student feels that they can learn better from another books, I am glad to adapt my teaching strategies to their needs. Along with the lesson books below, I use a lot of supplemental materials based on the students' interests. I also aim to teach their favorite songs as soon as possible. I like to clearly explain and demonstrate piano technique. In this way, the students are able to apply the information on similar passages from all genres of music. My name is Denise and I'm a professional singer with a singing master's degree from Catalonia's Music College (ESMUC) specialized in Historical Singing, Musicology and Music Education. My experience runs mostly in early and chamber music, nevertheless I also have the experience and knowledge of popular musical styles such as Latin-American folk, jazz and musicals. As a docent or vocal coach I've collaborated with different academic institutions and private artistic projects, focusing mostly on international students or social integration programs. My main goal is to help the student discover her or his voice while enjoying making music. No experience is needed, just bring your enthusiasm and favorite music.
