I am a masters student Pursuing Msc International Health Policy Health Economics studying at LSE and have completed my Bachelors in Economics Honors with an overall cgpa of approx. 8.5 which makes me eligible to provide classes for economics. I completed my high school in 2021 with a cgpa of 9.1 and am passionate about studies and value co curriculars as well. I scored an 8 band in IELTS in my first try as a proof of my fluency in the English language.

I am a highly passionate and committed history student at UCL fuelled with a desire to share my educational expertise with GCSE and A-Level History and/or French students. As a previous high-achieving and enthusiastic GCSE and A-Level student that achieved nine 9’s at GCSE and two A* and one A at A-Level, I believe that the knowledge and advice I have acquired would be extremely beneficial and I am thus eager to support students in fulfilling their academic aspirations. My tutoring sessions will be highly flexible in terms of hours and location, and specifically tailored to suit the needs of the individual student. Whether this may be covering specific content that the student may feel less confident with, or regular exam practice through attempting exam-style questions and past papers both individually and collaboratively. My sessions will foster a relaxed learning atmosphere, ultimately allowing the student to thrive and expand their academic horizon. In terms of my personal characteristics, I am extremely attentive and compassionate, and I possess strong interpersonal skills, a factor which is further facilitated by my bilingual capabilities (French & English). I am a final year undergraduate student studying at King's College London and am originally from Northern Ireland. I specialize in tutoring secondary school pupils in English (both language and literature), History, Biology, and Politics. I achieved grade A in all of these subjects at A level and therefore have a thorough understanding of what is required to achieve top grades in these subjects at both GCSE and A level standards. My aim as a tutor is to work on an individual level with each of my students in order to fully understand where they need help with their subject and then create an engaging environment in which to move forward so that they are as prepared as they can be to confidently excel in their respective examinations. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
