French is a hard language to learn even for us french. My class is meant to teach French without getting bored. I’m confident that anyone can learn French independently of age, everything is about method. For infants and preschool children French can be introduced through games, enriching their vocabulary. For children and teenagers I like to do classes mixing both games and more conventional teaching (grammar). This way they learn and practice french while never getting bored. I want French to be fun.

I am native French and lived in Paris my whole life until this year. I’ve always taught French to English students from my school (American school of paris) so I have experience in that field.

French, along with English, is the only language spoken on all five continents. This course is intended for student with no prior knowledge or those who have have had two years or less of french in high school. The goal will be to build foundation for an effective speech and listening comprehension so that you will be able to converse with a french speaker. Reading and writing will also be developed and used for reinforcement.

The Conversation Class is different than regular language teaching as, I believe, it raises the stakes of the lesson. Instead of having a professor inflicting knowledge to his/her student, it becomes about two people trying to communicate.

I regularly give French and Italian conversation classes to all levels.I have always adopted a friendly attitude with my students (no matter the age), always trying to keep them interested and active.

I believe in this tutoring format for it is a way to learn differently than in school for instance, and to take the time to understand and succeed in whatever was challenging us.
