I will prepare students to develop their interest in three-dimensional work. Students will be creating work with Cray and 3-dimensional materials. The course will begin withdrawing lessons, model building, and work in clay. Later students will experience mixed media sculptures with other materials. I firmly believe that with the right time, space, and personalized instruction, anyone can paint. Whilst oil painting has being rumoured to be very messy (And it can be extremely messy) I have built a clean painting structure, as I am also living with a cleaning freak (the love of my life), a 3 year old child and a boxer dog.

That's why I offer 1-1 tutoring sessions at my place, in a patient, friendly, and instructive environment filled with good vibes and good music (probably the most important ingredient!).

If you enjoy bright colors and want to learn to paint abstractly with liquid watercolor paint, this workshop is for you.
At the beginning of the painting session we will become familiar with the wet-on-wet technique. We will learn to let the chance of the colors running into each other guide us. In this workshop you will learn to find the balance between chance and gentle brush control. After a short drying time, the fine lines are then applied with fine brushes.

Simply starting and working with your hands is a self-healing process, something I rediscovered especially during the Corona crisis. Watercolor painting is relaxing and has a meditative effect, it slows you down and when you wake up from the trance you have created a finished watercolor.
