French and Portuguese Tutoring with an experienced tutor.

French and Portuguese Tutoring with an experienced tutor.

I am a French and Brazilian tutor, specialised in tutoring students French and Portuguese and helping them prepare for exams such as the DELF/ DALF and IB (in French) and the CIPLE/DAPLE (Portuguese). Last year I have become an IB French teacher for The International Sharing School, and I am currently working part time as an online French teacher for MyLingoTrip School. Therefore my schedule is flexible and I am actively accepting new students. I have tutored several adults and young professionals in Portuguese and French, for the past 5 years. With more then 4 languages in my arsenal and an intensely multicultural background, I have a mature knowledge about the broad senses of language and a great mastering of its nuances. With years of professionalism, translation practice and teaching, my skills and resources allow me to help anyone reach their goal! Furthermore, in my language education roles, I focus on students who have the goal to work in French or Portuguese speaking countries, so I have tailored my curriculum in order to allow them to rapidly develop relevant business communication skills. My classes are really dynamic and I can easily adapt to what the student is looking for (improving grammar, vocabulary, written skills, conversations). I see language as something very stimulating and playful to learn. It is truly helpful to learn new communication skills, for the everyday life but also for improving new connections, professional opportunities and travels around the world. I am very patient and always strive for improvement. I am looking forward to hearing from you, and do not hesitate if you have any questions. I am here for you!

VIOLIN LESSONS FOR ALL LEVELS. Individual and collective lessons. Innovative method and fast learning.

VIOLIN LESSONS FOR ALL LEVELS. Individual and collective lessons. Innovative method and fast learning.

Even if you are a total beginner looking to enter the magical world of music or if you want to improve your violin technique and develop your artistic potential, let's achieve your goals together, always with a smile, making this experience a joyful, vibrant and stimulating one. My teaching style is a mix of the Russian violin school and a fresh modern musical pedagogy approach. Individual lessons plan for each student, according to your specific level, goals, and expectations. Studying the violin can have interesting side-effects of personal development and usually helps to: 1. Establish a deeper relationship with music: being "in music" 2. Become more curious and competitive users: expanding an aesthetic sensitivity, widening the field of one's musical interests, refining the artistic taste 3. Express oneself (identity, relationship with one's emotions, self-narration) 4. Consolidate self-esteem by experiencing your limits 5. Build self-discipline, developing self-organization skills and a sense of responsibility 6. Learn to respect collective rules, integrate and collaborate with others in harmony, like in an orchestra. 7. Develop attention and concentration activities 8. Compose experiences of integration between mind and body, between affectivity, logic, and sensoriality 9. Refine perceptual and psychomotor skills (coordination, proprioception, body observation) 10. Develop analytical and cognitive skills 11. Develop expressive and creative attitudes

“ I've had lessons before but chose Philip to try his wholistic approach. I really enjoyed learning about the neuroscience behind good tuition, and I've found my practice is going much better now. I would recommend this new approach to learning to anyone who is either a beginner or just maybe stuck in a rut like I was. It's the most beneficial learning I've had in a long time. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed with the results. Thanks Phil - I'm looking forward to continuing. ”

“ I've been looking for a violin teacher for my kids and was happy to find Kellie, who is a patient and knowledgable teacher. My kids were happy to have an instructor again and motivated to practice new songs. Kellie is also very responsive and communicative. I would recommend her to others. ”

“ Laura is a knowledgeable, experienced, patient, and encouraging instructor. I am a complete beginner and even after just two lessons I have learned very much from her. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in lessons! ”
