About Me

I’m a professional guitarist, bassist and vocalist from England with nearly ten years of performance experience. I hold a Master’s degree in Popular Music Performance and a BA in Music, and have taught privately as well as at the Academy of Music and Sound in Exeter.

My musical experience spans function bands, jazz ensembles, acoustic duos and original music projects, including performances at weddings, festivals and live venues.

I offer personalised guitar and bass lessons for beginners and developing musicians, focusing on technique, music theory, reading music, ear training and practical musicianship. Whether you want to learn your favourite songs, build confidence, understand music more deeply or prepare for performing, I’ll help you progress at your own pace and enjoy the journey.

A flamenco guitar course in private classes is an incredibly enriching experience. During these classes, I will completely focus on you and your goals as a flamenco guitarist.

We will begin by exploring the world of flamenco together: its history, its diverse styles and its unique emotions. As we progress, you will learn the essential techniques of the flamenco guitar, such as the strumming, the "picao" and the golpe, among others. Pierpaolo is a guitarist and composer born in 1995 from central Italy (Le Marche, Recanati). At the age of 12 he picked up a classical guitar for the first time (which he still owns) and since then he has not stopped playing, practicing and inventing with it. He currently lives in Barcelona (Spain) where he mainly teaches rock, jazz and flamenco. In fact, his studies range from jazz (he has 2 degrees in jazz guitar) to flamenco. In Barcelona Pierpaolo attends the ESMUC conservatory. "I am Pierpaolo, a professional guitarist with a Bachelor and Master's degree in Jazz Guitar (110 cum laude) and with experience studying other styles such as blues, rock, pop, funk, latin, fusion, flamenco. I have 10 years of experience as a teacher and have played at many festivals and events as a guitarist, in ensembles ranging from solo guitar to orchestra and big band. My passion for music always makes me have fun in classes with my guitar students. I also have experience in the recording studio as an author, composer, arranger, producer and collaborator."

I graduated in Musical Theatre from Liverpool John Moores University and, although my artistic career has focused mainly on scripted theatre, music and singing have always been part of my journey.

I recently became a certified singing teacher at Vocalstudio, where I trained in vocal pedagogy and the workings of the voice, acquiring tools to work on technique and adapt learning to the needs of each person.

I love to accompany each person in discovering and enjoying their own voice, and creating a space where they can feel comfortable exploring, learning, and expressing themselves.
