Hi! My name is Eduardo, a professional musician and long-time music teacher. I am offering physical and online lessons in Music Theory, Improvisation and Instrument.
#Harmony #Composition #Solfège #Saxophone #Clarinet #Piano

Lessons are addressed to every student profile, regardless of age, level of expectations (no matter if it is seen as a hobby or rather if the individual is getting prepared for official Conservatory auditions, etc.).

We will play and/or focus on what the student is willing to deepen into (whatever music style they are interested in, more theoretical aspects or rather practical ones), trying to get the maximum profit of the employed time, and prioritising the actual learning of the person as the main factor for their motivation.

I obtained my Jazz Music Master's program at the Prince Claus Conservatoire of Groningen in June 2022.
Previously, in 2018, I graduated from my music Bachelor's at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona (Spain).

Hi there! Have you always wanted to learn the flute or do you feel like picking up this beautiful instrument again after a break?

As a teacher with more than 6 years of experience, I offer private lessons for all ages and all levels.
I learned my teaching skills from famous flute teachers of our time. I have experience teaching both children and adults and I think it is essential that we both have fun while learning something as wonderful as playing music! Lessons are adapted to your needs and we will develop your musicality and technical skills together. In addition to Classical music, we can also work on other music styles if necessary. For example, I am familiar with Brazilian folk music, Baroque music, Modern Music and Jazz.
It is also possible to request academic support with the instrument, music theory or history.

Lessons can be given in English and Dutch. If you don't have an instrument of your own yet, I can give some suggestions on where and how to find/rent one - don't hesitate to contact me if you're interested.

I hope to hear from you soon!

Are you looking to start a new musical adventure ?
My name is Chen. I’ve been living, performing, and teaching here in Amsterdam for the last few years, and I hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in jazz drums from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (CvA).
I love diving into a massive mix of styles, blending everything from jazz and minimalism to rock, electronic music, and creative groove concept drumming. I truly believe that music lessons should be tailored to what gets you excited. Whether you want to master a solid practice pad routine, learn your favorite songs, build up your timing and coordination, or dive deep into advanced improvisation, we will design the lessons around your goals.
All ages and levels are welcome!

Let's make playing the drums fun, focused, and uniquely yours. Get in touch, and let's get started!

I teach piano to kids and adults. My goal is to teach you how to connect with the instrument, learn the notes and create your own style of playing. I teach the classical way but that does not limit our repertoire; we will focus on whatever songs/pieces you prefer and want to learn. Music is one of the most important arts and it is my goal to make you love it even more!

We can develop your technique, sight reading, chords/harmony, scales, repertoire, improvisation, ear training, music theory and performance skills.

I welcome students who want to develop serious ability and freedom on the instrument as well as students interested primarily in learning their favorite songs. Each lesson is adapted to your level and pace, with clear guidance and achievable goals to help you build confidence and make steady progress. My aim is to help you become a more confident, creative, and independent guitarist while, most importantly, enjoying the process of learning.

The lessons will focus on your own need, according to your level. Beginners to very advanced players are welcome! I can also help you with the reeds ; by showing you the general technique as well as all my little secrets... ;)

I am also specialised in the historically informed practice field, and I would be more than happy to share this part of my education with you.

Rather than a fixed curriculum, I build a custom syllabus for each student based on their needs, goals, and current level. In designing lessons, I draw on my own experience both as a self-taught musician and as an academically trained one — combining structured, conservatory-level methods with the flexibility that comes from having found my own way into this field first.

Lessons are shaped in pace and format to what actually works for the student in front of me — whether that means working note-by-note through an audition piece, or building broader theoretical fluency over a longer stretch of time.

Learning to play the piano is challenging - but also a lot of fun! I make sure that my students learn quickly, in order to achieve their goals and play their favorite pieces. In my bachelor and master studies, I specialized in Jazz and improvised music but I also have experience with teaching and playing classical repertoire and all in between. Depending on your goals and your favorite musical genres, I will make a personalized teaching plan that focuses on the music you actually want to play and the exercises that you need to get there.

For Beginners: Getting started with proper breathing, producing a beautiful sound, reading music, and playing your favorite melodies from day one!

For Intermediate Players: Improving tone quality, finger technique, rhythm, and exploring classical or contemporary music pieces.

For Advanced Students / Audition Prep: Fine-tuning musical expressiveness, advanced techniques, competition prep, or conservatory entrance exams.

About Me:
I am a professional classical saxophonist with extensive performance and teaching experience in the Netherlands and Taiwan. I love working with students of all ages and levels—from children to adults.

Let's make music together! Feel free to reach out with any questions before booking your first lesson.

I like to have a structured approach to my lessons, while also adapting them to each student’s level and interests.

Some of the subjects we can cover include:

• Building a repertoire: Blues, Pop, Rock, Country, Jazz, R&B & Soul
• Guitar technique
• Music theory: Chords & Scales
• Rhythm and rhythmic studies
• Guitar accompaniment and comping techniques
• Improvisation and guitar solos
• Sight reading
• Ear training
• Songwriting and composition
• Guitar recording and basic home recording techniques

For beginners, we can start with the basics and gradually build a strong foundation\. If you already play guitar, we can focus on developing your technique, expanding your repertoire, or working on specific areas you’d like to improve.

The lessons are practical and focused on actually making music, so we can always use songs and music that you enjoy as part of the process.
