Hi there ! If you are looking for a versatile teacher, that can help you learn or improve on the oboe, or on its baroque cousin, you are at the right place.

The lessons will focus on your own need, according to your level. Beginners to very advanced players are welcome! From your basic technique to learning your favorite piece, with the guidance of musical theory along the way, you will find a friendly space to develop your knowledge, and most important, connect and have fun on the oboe :)

I can also help you with the reeds ; by showing you the general technique as well as all my little secrets... ;)

I am also specialised in the historically informed practice field, and I would be more than happy to share this part of my education with you.

Extra information

About me : I gratuated with two masters degrees, one in modern oboe in Switzerland and the other one in Baroque Oboe here in the Netherlands. I have an extensive experience of playing all kinds of oboes, especially in the baroque field with ensembles such as the Bach Netherlands Society or the European Union Baroque Orchestra.

I also play folk music in a band in Switzerland, and I took part in a lot of windbands. I am very open to all kind of pieces you would like to learn !

I have been teaching to kids in France and Switzerland, and I also regularly coach adults for "symphonic holidays".

About Me

Nice to meet you ! I am Laurine, a french (baroque) oboe player. I had the chance to teach, back when I was in France and Switzerland, and I know miss it a lot.

I would describe myself as a friendly teacher, I am here to help you feeling happy on your instrument, but I also am here to remind you to practice ;)

I think that teaching is not only about making the student improve, it is an exchange that is very valuable for both of us, and this sharing help everyone to understand the instrument better.

Looking for a piano teacher? In Utrecht you will find the friendly Spanish professional pianist Mar. She lives in Utrecht and studies at the Rotterdam Codarts Conservatory of Music, and has already a master's degree from the Utrecht Conservatory (with pedagogical training as well)
She teaches in English, Spanish, Italian, German and soon in Dutch. Lessons can take place at your place or at my place (in the centre of Utrecht) as I have a beautiful grand piano at my disposal. Lessons in Utrecht (and surroundings), Houten, Vleuten, De Meern, Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

I have been working for 12 years as a piano and music teacher (I started very very young, when I was 14 years old, because I always liked teaching): I have experience in private lessons and official state music schools, with children from 2 years and adults of all levels, both teaching individually and in groups. I have taught piano, music and movement for children, music theory, solfeggio and choir.

I finished my bachelor studies with the highest marks, I have experience as a concert performer and have won prizes in competitions and several scholarships prizes.

I teach cello to students of all ages and levels: from complete beginners to those preparing for conservatory auditions. My goal is to build your technique and musicality together, step by step, so that you're always challenged but never overwhelmed.

A typical lesson works on a mix of technique (posture, bow control, tone production), repertoire suited to your level and taste, and — if you want it — music theory and sight-reading. I'll set clear short-term goals with you each lesson and check in regularly on your progress, so you always know what you're working toward and why.

I have experience teaching students with dyslexia and ADHD, and I adjust my pacing and explanations so lessons stay clear and comfortable rather than stressful. If you're an absolute beginner, don't worry — I've taught people who've never held a cello before, and we start exactly where you are.

A bit about my background: I hold a Master of Music from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where I studied under Ella van Poucke, and I graduated cum laude from the Conservatory and University of Thessaloniki. With my quartet, I won First Prize and the Young Jury Prize at the Storioni Festival Competition 2026, and I've performed at venues including Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, and Muziekgebouw Eindhoven.
