Hi,
I'm Alex. I'm a classical clarinet player from Greece, currently living in the Netherlands. I studied classical clarinet performance at the University of Macedonia, Greece and at The Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I offer Clarinet lessons for all ages and levels, piano and music theory lessons mainly for beginners. I especially enjoy working with kids, as I have experience both in teaching and caring for children. I take a holistic approach in my teachings (viewing the student as a whole) and tending to the individual's different needs. Through my music lessons I hope to cultivate essential skills such as coordination, concentration, cooperation, communication and active listening, with fun and play. I'm committed to personal growth and lifelong learning, values that I wish to convey to my students, together with qualities such as self-trust, patience and curiosity, very important for navigating their own musical journey and discovering their own unique musical voice.

About Me

I am a Greek, Italian musician living in the Netherlands. I am passionate, dedicated, creative, curious and patient. During my studies I began to recognize the limitations of a purely technical or theoretical approach, and the importance of taking into consideration the intellectual, emotional, and physical dimensions of musical expression. Through my teaching I really wish to guide my students into discovering their own unique expression, in their own time. Everyone is welcome and I will do my best to make you feel seen and heard. Hello everyone,

thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. My name is Alex and I'm from Greece, currently living in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Since I have been away from my country for some years now, I have decided that the time has come to start teaching everything that I know about my country's language and culture. If you're up for it we may occassionally dive into the greek culinary experience as well. Join me on this exciting journey to explore the beauty of the Greek language and culture. Hello there!

My name is Antek and i'm a cellist, pianist and composer who graduated from Conservatorium van Amsterdam. As a cellist I've had the pleasure and honour of collaborating with renowned artists such as Hans Zimmer, being part of his 2022 European Tour Orchestra, touring over 15 countries and playing in locations such as London's O2 Arena or Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. I am now mainly active as a performer of contemporary/experimental music, as well as classical music, freelancing in various orchestras in the Netherlands, having played in venues such as Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, Concertgebouw or TivoliVredenburg. I offer cello lessons, regardless of the level - whether you are a curious beginner or more advanced player, i'm happy to collaborate and share my knowledge and experience with you, as well as inspire your creativity regarding both playing the right notes, and making artistic choices.

I can also help you prepare for conservatory entrance exams by providing Solfege, Ear-training and General Music Theory lessons.

As a composer, I'm currently pursuing a degree at Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp. I can help you work on your ideas, and how to write them down, to sound exactly how you want them to sound. That includes tutorials on engraving rules, orchestration, working in DAWs (Ableton) and using sheet music software (Sibelius, MuseScore), as well as building your craft and workflow. I'm experienced in writing both instrumental and electronic music, as well as performance art, live electronics and multidisciplinary projects. I have also collaborated with institutions like National Polish Radio or CelloWercken Festival Zutphen.
