Teaches the student to teach him/herself. I’m an enthusiastic motivator and coach. I’ve picked up lots of cello technique and theory from masters, who include Pieter Wispelwey and the Polish cellist partner of Wladislav Szpilman (depicted in The Pianist film by Roman Polanski).

Violin & Viola lessons are for anyone who wishes to start playing, continue or rusume studying, for both children and adults.
I combine various practices which I believe create a greater whole. I teach basic to advance techniques in reprtoire which corresponds with the student's personality and ranges from classical to contemporary, improvisation, world, folk, pop, rock and more.
I combine repertoire with improvisation, composition, movement and other an interdicsiplinary manner.
My method is personal and about listening to the student wishes and ideas. If you're intrigued, I'd be happy to play, teach and exchange ideas with you!

About me - I've graduated BA in Viola from The Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance and BA and MA in Composition at The Royal Conservatory including an Erasmus semester at MIAM, ITU, Istanbul.
I was born in 1986 in Israel. Currently I live in Amsterdam.
I play viola, compose acoustic and electronic music (often involving theater and film), draw faces and make large-scale collages out of them, dance, research and experiment with movement & music, make performance-art, sing, improvise, make videos, write about my dreams, write poetry, perform as a soloist and with ensembles, initiate and taka part in many musical and cross-art collaborations.

Greetings! I am a world traveled performer and vocalist from the United States. I have been playing the cello for 12 years now and specialize in Suzuki method and Baroque style. I teach proper technique and positioning but also let the student guide me as to how outside of the box they would like to go. I teach cello for jazz, pop and other experimental avenues as well.

Hello,

My name is Jaime and I am a Spanish clarinet player, composer, and teacher.
With over years of experience playing the clarinet and having immersed myself in teaching for the last few years,
I am currently completing my professional studies in clarinet and composition at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam
with professors Arno Piters (Royal Concertgebouw Orkest) and Hans Colbert (Residentie Orkest Den Haag).

I see teaching not only as a way to pass on my (still growing) knowledge but also as a way to learn along with my students in a cheerful and inspiring way.
During our classes, we will learn the basics of clarinet playing, as well as how to use these basics to build your own way of playing and learn simple songs, intermediate pieces, or world-class concertos!

Learning to play the cello, at any desired level, is becoming part of a big international community of people that love this beautiful instrument. My name is Wilma, and I have been playing the cello for most of my life. I am passionate about teaching, and have a lot of experience with it.

In my lessons, there is a good balance between technique and musicality. Knowing how to (technically) play the cello is important for being able to express yourself on it, and making beautiful music is the reason we play!

I involve my students in the process of investigating problems and experimenting with solutions. This gives people a better understanding of the challenges, and motivates them to engage with those.

It is particularly interesting that every person has a different way of learning and different needs, and I enjoy tailoring my approach to each student's personality, requirements and tastes, so she or he can optimally learn.

Above all, I love inspiring people, seeing them discover their own aptitude for music and growing as musicians. Playing the cello is a wonderful and fun experience and I heartily welcome anyone who would like to come on this adventure!

You'll learn how to use the voice in the proper way, starting by your natural speech and developing it to find your own sound. I have experience in both Pop and Jazz styles (a Bachelor in Jazz Singing and a degree in Jazz Composition), so it's possible to study songs from both this repertoires. I also give Music Theory Lessons, to make the student develop his/her own style and musical sensibility and, in the case of Jazz, to know how to improvise on different chord changes and jazz styles.

My name is Marine, I'm 28 years old and I've been playing the piano since I was 12. A graduate of the Chantilly Departmental Conservatory in France (training obtained alongside my baccalaureate), I also studied jazz for two years in a specialized school, then in jazz piano classes at the conservatory. ✅ Progressive but natural learning: we start with popular music (cartoons, pop culture, film music – Disney, Harry Potter, etc.)
