About Me

I have been navigating the Education and Training field for 15 years and I am still enjoying it as of day one. I have lived in 4 different countries, taught all levels and all age groups. Meeting, exchanging, learning, having fun... this is what I love about teaching and in life in general!

When teaching, my main concern is always "how can I help you more" therefore, we first discuss what are your needs and goals, where and how I can support and we build the course together, adjusting when needed.

Half German living in Brussels and having studied in an International School, I am fluent in French, English and German.
I am currently doing my masters in Rotterdam at RSM and would like to offer French and/or English classes to students. I believe communicating with students in the language they would like to learn is key if they want to become confident in the language. Hence, I suggest doing skype classes or real life meetings at home or outdoors depending on your preferences and talking together will be very helpful for the student to improve in a particular language. I will also help with homework, grammar and the theoretical side of the language if desired.
I have been a counsellor in summer camps in Canada where I had to teach small children aged from 5-15 English. Some of them didn't even know a single word of English when they arrived. It was very hard but we managed to get to know each other, communicate well and believe me, their English improved a lot.

I speak French at a level of B2. I am very open to helping young people get started with the French language. For example, I can help with preparing a French oral, writing a French letter and with other aspects of the language. I can also explain the grammar of course! Following that exotic experience, I decided to change course and study Anthropology all the while teaching French as a Second Language on a freelance basis. I moved to the Netherlands just recently and have decided to continue practicing as a French tutor. I have also tutored English classes in France for five years.

What? I offer French or FLE (French as a Second Language) courses based on multiple sources and I regularly renew them because it is important to be in adequacy with today's society. As I just started learning Dutch, I teach in English all the while aiming for 90% French during the class.

Where? Normally I go to the learner's home. For the moment, online courses are also popular.
