Experienced singing teacher and professional singer with international training. Extensive experience teaching individual and group lessons.Translate this text using Google Translate.

My name is Arthur. I'm a professional singer and music teacher with extensive international training and active stage experience. I graduated as a music teacher (primary and secondary education) from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and also studied voice at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in St. Petersburg. I teach singing to children, teenagers, and adults, both individually and in groups. In my lessons, I combine sound vocal technique with musicality, expression, and confidence. I believe it's important that students feel free in their voices and learn to sing with joy, in a way that suits their personal abilities and goals. Besides my teaching, I'm also active as a performing artist. I give concerts and have participated in various television programs and music competitions. In 2025, I was a finalist on Holland's Got Talent and in 2024, a contestant on the TV program ARIA. I consciously incorporate this stage experience into my lessons, for example, when preparing for performances and dealing with stage fright. My lessons are suitable for both beginners and advanced students and can focus on technique, interpretation, performance, or audition preparation. Together, we'll work on a strong, free, and authentic voice.

English Tutoring with Holistic Approach for All LevelsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

English has become the Lingua Franca of our times. It's a valuable skill to possess, beneficial for everyone. It comes handy in the ever-developing world that we live in and opens doors to many places, also in the mind. Additionally, bilingualism enhances the cognitive skills. Whether you'd like to improve your speaking skills and break the language barrier or you wish to prepare better for an English exam, I come to an aid. In 2023, I've obtained a Master degree in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 7 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach. It is my belief that language is for people of every age and education, but I'm aware that everyone deserves a personal approach. In the first session, we always do a needs analysis and become acquainted, to make sure we click as people and will enjoy working away at your personal language goals. Over the years, my classes, have proven to raise the confidence levels of students. We practice knowledge in English, on 4 levels of proficiency: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. I will focus on your strengths and guide you to how to use those to your advantage in learning. We will elicit your potential. With a little help, I am sure you will achieve the goals you set for yourself.

I had a great first lesson with Mariela. What I found most important: - Mariela ensures you're comfortable. Her kindness and calm confidence work wonders for a self-conscious and nervous person like me. - Explanations! Everything is clearly explained, so you always know why you're doing something and how to do it correctly. - I loved the flexible approach: if you know exactly what you want, she'll help you achieve it, but if you're completely lost, she's ready to guide you, offer different options, and give you advice. No pressure, but lots of support. - I feel like Mariela has many different teaching strategies for various personalities and goals, which is awesome. Plus, she has a lot of cool vocal tricks up her sleeve! - It's obvious that Mariela loves both music and teaching, which is so inspiring. Overall, I had a very fun and productive experience and will definitely continue studying with Mariela!

As someone struggling with learning programming in Python for so long, Jerry's lessons literally saved me. His clear explanations helped me understand the concepts better, and the examples he provided helped me concretize the topics in my mind so that I was able to apply them by myself later. He was very patient and helpful when explaining the topics and when giving me time to think about the possible formulations of the algorithms, which released the stress of passing my university course and enabled me to actually understand the essence of Python and how to think when programming.

Antonio is a fantastic guitar teacher! He's incredibly patient and takes the time to ensure I understand each concept and exercise thoroughly. I really appreciate how he tailors the lessons to the music I like, making the learning fun and engaging. I highly recommend Antonio to anyone looking to learn guitar in a supportive and personalized environment!!!
