Olá! I'm Victor, an incoming Master's student at Lund University and a native Portuguese speaker (Brazilian-Italian background), offering personalized lessons in both Brazilian and European Portuguese. Whether you're a complete beginner, preparing for travel, brushing up before a move to Brazil or Portugal, or working toward conversational fluency, I tailor each lesson to your goals, interests, and current level. Lessons can focus on conversation and pronunciation, grammar and sentence structure, vocabulary building, or the practical differences between Brazilian and European Portuguese — useful if you're not sure which variety to focus on. I bring a strong academic and professional background in writing and communication (including work as a cultural journalist and blog editor), which helps me explain grammar clearly and structure lessons that are genuinely useful rather than just following a textbook. As a multilingual speaker (Portuguese native, English C1, Italian C1, plus basic Spanish), I understand what it takes to learn a language well, and I keep lessons supportive, flexible, and paced to you. All levels welcome — from absolute beginners to advanced learners polishing fluency. What I can help with: - Conversational Portuguese for everyday situations and travel; - Brazilian vs. European Portuguese: pronunciation, vocabulary, and usage; - Grammar fundamentals and sentence structure; - Reading, listening, and vocabulary building; - Exam or interview preparation in Portuguese. My name is Nicolas, and I am a Brazilian Portuguese teacher with eight years of teaching experience. I have been speaking Portuguese for about ten years now. I learned the language while living in Brazil for several long periods, both for study and work. I am currently living there again. Having also gone through the process of learning to speak this language, I am well aware of the different stages my students go through. This helps a lot. My lessons are tailor-made to achieve personal goals and are adapted to the specific needs of each student. Practice is prioritized throughout the learning process in order to gain autonomy as quickly as possible. Grammar is also covered, depending on the student's level. This course is aimed at: - Beginners (basics, conversation, travel); - Intermediate/advanced learners (improvement, exam preparation); - Professionals (business Portuguese, interview preparation).
