Coming from a trilingual family, I speak Spanish, Portuguese, and English fluently and hold a first-class BA in History with Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Leeds. After a decade-long career in law, I then changed profession to pursue my original love for languages. Having taught Spanish to secondary school students in London for three years and acted as a GCSE Portuguese speaking examiner within the school, I now focus on private tutoring full-time. Whether you're looking for formal public exam preparation or a tutor to practise everyday conversational skills with, I'm ready and willing to help. My hour-long lessons are designed to be an open and encouraging space in which students can practise and improve their language skills. My name is Nicolas, and I am a Brazilian Portuguese teacher with eight years of teaching experience. I have been speaking Portuguese for about ten years now. I learned the language while living in Brazil for several long periods, both for study and work. I am currently living there again. Having also gone through the process of learning to speak this language, I am well aware of the different stages my students go through. This helps a lot. My lessons are tailor-made to achieve personal goals and are adapted to the specific needs of each student. Practice is prioritized throughout the learning process in order to gain autonomy as quickly as possible. Grammar is also covered, depending on the student's level. This course is aimed at: - Beginners (basics, conversation, travel); - Intermediate/advanced learners (improvement, exam preparation); - Professionals (business Portuguese, interview preparation).
