Learn how to play music from a real touring musician!

Learn how to play music from a real touring musician!

Learn from a pro who's played Wembley Stadium, toured Europe, and worked with West End stars! I'm Chris - a London-based multi-instrumentalist with years of real-world experience as a performer, musical director, and bandleader. Since 2015, I’ve taught over 100 students - from 6-year-old beginners to seasoned musicians - helping them grow their skills, boost their confidence, and connect more deeply with the music they love. I’ve played bass for 80s legends Talk Talk, bass and keyboards for renowned tribute band Guns 2 Roses on national and European tours, been a musical supervisor and musical director for national theatre productions, and shared stages with cast members from Les Misérables, Book of Mormon, Dear Evan Hansen, Mamma Mia, and more. I've performed everywhere from intimate acoustic venues to the Royal Festival Hall and even Wembley Stadium. My teaching style is practical, flexible, and student-led. I teach both online and in person from my West London studio, working with people of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re looking to jam with friends, write your own music, get ready for a recording session, or just play for your own enjoyment, I’ll help you build the skills you need, and enjoy the process as much as the result. I currently offer lessons in: 🎹 Piano and keyboards 🎸 Acoustic and electric guitar 🎸 Bass guitar 📖 Music theory (from the basics to advanced harmony and analysis) 🎓 Support for GCSE and A-Level music students I believe lessons should feel creative, inspiring, and genuinely useful - not just a box to tick. I bring patience, adaptability, and a deep understanding of both music and musicians to every session, helping students unlock their potential on their own terms.

Enthusiastic Music, Piano Violin and Viola teacher

Enthusiastic Music, Piano Violin and Viola teacher

Hi! I’m Paloma, I’m a film and videogame music composer, pianist and violist. I give classes in music language, music theory, harmony, and composition from classical to film, piano, and viola. My students are any age, any level from beginner to advanced. I will help with exams, GCSE, and A-Levels, as well as help students obtain their grade 5 theory to advance and take higher grades in composition or viola. I started teaching when I was 17 years old. While I was studying viola and composition I would help colleagues learn Harmonic Theory for University exams or just for fun. Whilst studying, in order to support my learning abroad, I started teaching children and teenagers. The classes included a wide variety, from; supporting their studies during the school year, to their first approaches to music as well as nurturing love and excitement for playing and making music. After University I continued giving classes during the last few years. The compositional strand of training if a student wishes to undergo it has many elements we will learn the theory needed to competently make music learn systems that allow us to break down composition as well as multiple genres. work they can do by themselves at their own pace, allowing each student to work and grow at a rate suited to their ability. -Building a strong understanding of melodies and chords and how different instruments work and support each other. -If they are studying in a formal educational establishment, they will receive support and guidance in regard to their work and exams. When I am giving classes in music language, viola, piano... to children, I always try that the classes will be dynamic but at the same time incorporate a little bit of Theory. I utilised exercises that are designed to engage young developmental minds, like those you’d find on a children’s show. For example, singing, playing... songs allows us to train the ears and help them to begin to recognise the different registers, notes, rhythms and tempo. This was done alongside training on their chosen instruments, my aim was and is to nurture a language of music as well as give them practical skills and exercises they can do on their own. I play the piano and viola, so I always try to support them. When it comes to classes for teenagers I teach them theory and practice as well as strong fundamentals but I also allow time to let them lead their learning to give them more agency, allow them to learn their favourite /contemporary songs. This keeps the passion for music alive. With teenagers, my approach centres on elevating and reinforcing what they learn from school using exercises and providing tools to break down ideas musically. In addition, I also prepare for GCSE and A-levels. Lessons will follow a path of progression, teaching them how to approach the next levels of theoretical and practical competence. Allowing the students to understand their Progression and their path forward increases the likelihood they will continue studying. Lessons are flexible, and curated on a student-to-student basis as well as making sure to incorporate what I believe they need to achieve the next level. This involves; practical music training, ear training, building on theoretical knowledge, as well as learning songs they love to ensure they feel fulfilled and have fun with music.

Piano, Music theory, and Composition lessons available

Pablo is an experienced, award-winner music teacher, performer and composer based in London. He has earned a diploma in Contemporary Music from Newpark Music Centre, furthered his studies at the Royal Irish Academy of Music, and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree with honours of the first class in composition, and is currently completing a Masters Degree at the Royal Academy of Music. Whether you are studying for a music test, taking the grade exams for piano, or music theory, writing and recording your own music, or just want to play for fun, he can help you achieve your goals through his holistic approach to music, covering all that is relevant for you to succeed. Pablo has been tutoring piano, music theory and composition both in schools and privately since 2016 in Ireland and Scotland, having experience teaching children and adults as they prepare for the ABRSM, Trinity, School of Rock and RIAM theory and piano performance exams across all grades, although he does not confine his teaching solely to the content of the exams and his students often find that preparing for them is a natural consequence of their studies. He has extensive experience as a music tutor, composer, accompanist and director having worked at Gordonstoun School as a musician in residence, and at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland as a musicianship tutor. The lessons encompass a range of diverse methodologies and learning outcomes, always tailored to the specific pupil's needs. You will work together to build an appropriate path to your musical development, always considering performance as an important part of it. As an example, lessons could focus on performing Classical, Pop, Film, or Jazz music, or have a blended approach to reportoire covering a range of styles. They could also be more directed towards musicianship and theory, while he can offer guidance on composition and songwriting. For the younger pupils, he uses methods that will effectively elicit their best results by making the lessons enjoyable and fun, while nurturing their independent study habits. Pablo has a high level of proficiency on music notation and production softwares such as Finale, Sibelius, Dorico, Cubase, and protools and he often uses them as part of his teaching, as well as offering specific advice on learning to navigate them.

Piano lessons: Private online lessons for all levels of Piano

Piano lessons: Private online lessons for all levels of Piano

I am only prepared to go as fast as you are willing to practice and if that is not much then we will use the lessons to have fun and explore music while you find your rhythm. If you have found an instrument that interests you or you want to try many then that is great. Most students start out by choosing covers they wish they could play, songs that they love and want to show off and this can be done within one or two lessons which is very gratifying. Scales, theory and technicality come later if desired or when we are making great progression. If you are technically sound and driven however and wish to do exams, I can prep you for this easily but do not sign up with exam boards or institutions for you - this would have to be done yourself. I currently have a student studying for Grade 6 MTB flute. All you require is the instrument and yourself. I will provide the rest and my teaching method depends on what you require. For guitar and piano I use chords and tabs from ultimate guitar and want to get you playing your favourite songs as quickly as possible. If technical classical playing on any instrument is what you require then I will provide you with pictures and diagrams sourced from various parts of the web that I find explain everything easily and I incorporate them with my own images and notes. Every lesson you will be left with an image on your email or platform, that highlights the areas we worked on that day. I also create my own backing, harmony and rhythm tracks for whatever it is you may be learning. So that you can play, clap and sing along.

Guitar and Oud Lesson for All Level, Piano Lesson for Beginner

Guitar and Oud Lesson for All Level, Piano Lesson for Beginner

Hello! I am a professional music educator with 16 years of experience dedicated to making music an indispensable part of life rather than just a lesson. Throughout my career, I have mentored over 1,000 students individually, guiding hundreds of them to successfully enter Conservatories and Fine Arts High Schools. 🏆 My philosophy is simple: Music is loved first, then learned. I prioritize building a deep connection between the student and their instrument. Whether you want to master the Piano, Violin, Guitar, or Oud, I offer a holistic approach that combines technical skill, ear training, and rhythm development. I don’t believe in rote memorization. My teaching system is based on logic and understanding the "mathematics" of music. By simplifying complex music theory and "Makam" knowledge into practical and engaging methods, I ensure my students reach a stage-ready level in as little as one year. 🎼 In my online studio, I provide a high-quality learning experience using multi-camera angles and professional sound setups that rival face-to-face lessons. Whether you are a preschooler, a young aspiring artist, or an adult beginner, I create personalized, goal-oriented roadmaps to help you reach your musical dreams. 🌍 Let’s start this journey together and build a solid foundation that lasts a lifetime

“ Mary has been great in our interactions. At the moment, we are meeting twice a week for an hour each session. She started with a class in which we got to know each other and she listen to my goals. Then, she prepared exercises and lessons specially designed to help me reach those goals with practice and also prepared lessons to help me continue growing as a guitar player. Moreover, she goes often out of her way to get songs challenging to my level, but that are doable with enough practice. In all, I am enjoying quite a lot of our classes and I am always looking forward to them. ”

“ Amazing pedagogy. Patient instruction. Excellent English. A classically trained pianist passionate about sharing his love of music. If you are looking for a professional piano teacher in Athens, do not hesitate to reach out to Enrico. He will work with you at your level, whether you are a beginner or an expert. He should honestly be charging twice as much. ”

“ I highly recommend Bisho, he's s a very competent teacher. He's nice and friendly, tailoring your skill and needs in learning, and also very structured in his lessons. In every session I get to learn theories, techniques while learning new song, all in 60 minutes. Full packed yet well paced lessons-highly recommended. ”
