Piano Lesson - Beginner & intermediate level - in Antony and aroundTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Pianist for over 12 years, I help beginner and intermediate students to progress on the piano and enjoy playing their favorite pieces. . Music styles: - Pop/contemporary music (Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, Yiruma, Yann Tiersen, Ludovico Einaudi, etc.) - Classical music (Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, etc.) - Film music (La La Land, Titanic, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc.) - French pop music (Francis Cabrel, Jean-Jacque Goldman, etc.) . My teaching method: - Beginner level: my work is based on the book "J'apprends le piano tout simplement" by Christophe Astié, a simple and progressive method for learning the basics of piano (reading sheet music, music theory, playing with two hands, chords, etc.). Once some basic skills have been acquired, we can begin to learn the pieces you wish for. - Intermediate level: Instruction is personalized based on the pieces you wish to learn. I will guide you through reading sheet music, interpreting the piece, and improving your technique, while providing you with tailored theoretical knowledge. The goal is to enable you to play your favorite pieces with fluidity and confidence. . Location: At home (Antony and surrounding areas - Nanterre and surrounding areas) . Limited availability: I still have a few slots available for Saturday afternoons and Sundays. To book lessons, please contact me by message on this platform. See you soon at the piano! Daniel ------------------ - My students' opinions - (translated in English) "My daughter Louane (10 years old) has been taking piano lessons with Daniel for 8 months now, and the progress she's made is incredible. She really enjoys playing, and it shows in her motivation and consistency. What we particularly appreciate is Daniel's gentleness and kindness, as well as his teaching style, which is very child-friendly. Louane can choose the pieces she likes, which makes her even more involved, and music theory is naturally integrated into the learning process. It's an approach that's both fun and effective. Thank you for your patience and your infectious passion!" - Nathalie C. "Excellent teacher, excellent teaching style! My son has progressed much more this year than in previous years. Daniel is patient and adapts to his student's needs. I recommend him 100%." - François M. "After playing the piano for 4 years and then stopping for 21, I decided to take piano lessons with Daniel since August 2024. I quickly noticed progress and I recommend him for his professionalism, kindness, and friendliness. I also appreciate being able to choose the pieces I want to learn." - Marjolaine.

Piano lessons for all levels and ages, +12 years teaching experience . Relaxed teaching approach!Translate this text using Google Translate.

About me I help students start playing real music early—often within the first few lessons. I’m a professional pianist with 12+ years of teaching experience and over 7 years of international performing (Switzerland, Austria, Iceland, Spain, and worldwide on luxury cruise ships). Whether you’re a complete beginner or returning after a break, I tailor each lesson to your goals so you can progress efficiently and enjoy the process. I started piano at age 6 and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Piano Performance. I’ve also taken part in many masterclasses and studied with outstanding pianists. My background includes classical, jazz, blues, pop, rock, and chord-based playing. I’m passionate about teaching and focused on helping you reach your goals in a clear, supportive, and enjoyable way. About the Lesson I am a patient and dedicated piano teacher, working with students of all ages and levels. Every lesson is tailored to your goals, learning style, and musical interests. I teach a wide range of styles, from classical to modern music (jazz, blues, pop, etc.). I can teach you reading sheet music or playing by ear, depending on your preference and goals. I can also help you improvise and create your own music in the styles you enjoy. I also have strong experience working with students with ADHD and dyslexia, adapting lessons to make learning clear, structured, and engaging. I focus on healthy technique, musicality, and effective practice habits to build confidence and avoid tension or injury. I also help students develop a technique that prevents common issues such as tendonitis, which is very important for long-term playing. You’ll also receive support outside lessons, including answers, feedback, and video explanations when needed. I prepare students for ABRSM and Trinity exams (Grades 1–8 and Diplomas), but I also teach students who simply want to enjoy playing. My students range from age 3 to 75+, and all make meaningful progress. Online lessons are just as effective as in-person ones. I use a professional multi-camera setup and high-quality audio so you can clearly see technique and movement. Most of my lessons (95%+) are taught online. Curriculum There is no single method that fits everyone, so I adapt all materials to you. For beginners, I often use Alfred’s Basic Piano Library. For classical and jazz development, I work with ABRSM and Trinity syllabi. I’m always happy to use other methods if you prefer. Alongside structured materials, I include music you enjoy and focus on essential skills that apply across all styles—from classical to modern music. PIANO LESSONS. Highly experienced teacher: certified piano teacher, musicologist, studied composition and general health psychologist.Translate this text using Google Translate.

QUALIFIED PIANO TEACHER. Higher degree in music specializing in Musicology, advanced studies in Composition, degree in Psychology and master's degree in general health psychology. I've always been interested in the field of study methodology, focusing on effectiveness: just as there must be progress in the student's abilities, there must also be progress in the learning method. Furthermore, given my experience, and as a psychologist, I know that every student's most important tool is their mind: I try to help them develop new perspectives, encourage visualization and imagination... all of this is very helpful. I propose that you learn piano in a FAST, EFFECTIVE, and ENJOYABLE way. This, among other objectives, will help you: -Superfluous and redundant elements will be eliminated from the learning process. -We will be more positive and foster confidence in our own abilities. -We will only use repetition as a study method when absolutely necessary. It often leads to psychological strain. -We will encourage curiosity, so that studying the piano is associated with something enjoyable. -We will reflect on our pianistic interpretation, on the one we want to have and on the best way to achieve it. -We will reflect on the fingering to be used (it conditions the comfort of the performer at all times). -We will encourage imagination and musical introspection (and its great potential when it comes to learning). -We will promote relaxation.

Piano lessons in Chêne-Bougeries - All levels: from beginner to advancedTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Dear music lovers, A pianist and composer with a degree from the Paris Conservatory (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris), I have been teaching piano for over 10 years to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced musicians. I currently teach at the Conservatory. I offer piano lessons as well as lessons in writing (harmony, counterpoint, fugue), composition and improvisation to anyone who wants to discover, learn or improve in these different practices! In a few words, what I can offer you: Music lessons at your own pace Learning classical to contemporary music, current music Improvisation alone or in pairs Learning to read solfège Interpretation of works for 4 hands Work on interpretation Develop timbres to make the instrument sound in various ways Learn to compose and develop musical ideas Anatomical and postural explanations Breathwork for acting and/or managing stage fright Composition of pieces adapted to the student's level Music is a precious art through which so many things, colors, and feelings can be expressed. It is thanks to music that I have learned to know myself more deeply, to find a discipline that has meaning. I have become certain that everyone can draw beautiful experiences from it. My courses are built according to your needs and desires; for this, we will first clarify your objectives and the time you wish to devote to them in order to determine the level of requirement for our courses. For kids : Children are welcome from the age of 4. My approach is caring, playful, and ambitious. Over time, I have developed valuable experience with children from 4 to 18 years old. I have learned the art of engaging students in daily practice: the vast majority of my students can read the treble and bass clefs and sight-read music by the end of their first year. Beginners are therefore very welcome, and it is even possible to incorporate music theory into the piano lesson. The classes take place in Chêne-Bougeries.

I started my lessons with Giorgia four months ago, and I am so glad to have found her. As a 26-year-old beginner, I was not sure if I should even try to pursue learning an instrument at this point. But now I am so glad I did! I am learning online, and I was a little unsure of how lessons via webcam would go. Despite my prejudice, everything turned out great, even though my setup is quite basic. Her approach to teaching is very creative. She is able to explain things that seem hard to put into words, and she always finds comparisons and descriptions that convey clearly little details of approach that make a lot of difference in the end result. For any difficulty I encountered, she presented methods of exercise that helped correct it. Another thing that I appreciate is that from one lesson to the next, the volume of work is challenging enough that I feel I am making progress, but not to the point that I am overwhelmed. Also, even though I am just beginning and the pieces are not that complex, she explains the musical interpretation in a way that not only helps me advance my skill but also enriches the way I understand and listen to music, and I find great value in that. Her manner of teaching is very organic, and she is a patient teacher with a warm presence. I wholeheartedly recommend her lessons!

I had been trying to learn piano through YouTube tutorials for quite some time, but I wasn't making much progress. Clara explains very clearly how the different parts of the arm and hand work together while playing. She quickly identifies the areas where I tend to hold unnecessary tension and is guiding me in correcting these habits. Thanks to her approach, I am developing a more conscious and efficient technique, which is helping me become a more independent and confident learner. I recommend her 100%. In addition to being an excellent pianist, she is also a composer, which means she can create personalized exercises tailored to your specific needs and goals. This makes her teaching especially effective and unique.

Carole is a wonderful piano teacher. She makes an effort to get to know you and your knowledge of the piano and music theory so that she can give you the best experience of learning the instrument. She is very flexible when it comes to what you want to learn, if there is a piece of music you endeavour to learn, she'll do everything that you achieve it. I've just had my first lesson and I can't wait for the next ones.
