Discovering the world of music opens up many possibilities, insights and experiences. Welcome, my name is Martin. I am a classical pianist and an experienced music teacher. I teach to play the piano and all about music theory. The speciality of my piano practice is that I teach to students of all ages, levels and backgrounds. My youngest student currently is 4 years old, and my oldest is 88 years old. Furthermore, my lessons are suitable for beginners as well as advanced students. My lessons are both possible as individual lessons as well as group lessons. In the field of Piano Playing I teach: Classical Piano Playing Basics of Jazz Harmony and improvisation In my music practice I work with official entrance qualifications and curriculums in mind. For example, if the goal is to prepare for a conservatory entrance exam I support the entire journey towards it in my practice, to guarantee best results. A professional approach is always guaranteed. The exact details of the chosen learning path depend on the goal of the students. This gets discussed at the beginning of our lessons. There is always flexibility in support, should a student suddenly need assistance with something, even when not during lesson time. An advantage of my practice is that I teach in a wide variety of languages. Currently I teach in: English Russian German Dutch Italian When I started my piano practice, many people were sceptical of the idea of online lessons, which is very understandable. However I discovered how to make even online lessons work effectively: The secret lies in the ability to break down very complex topics, for example piano technique (E.G. hand position, use of fingers), into little parts that are easily understood and communicated. Because I communicate complicated topics very clearly, this works also very well online. Next to the flexibility in time and planning that online lessons offer, I am also always very open for ideas of students: If the student has own interests or ideas, I will gladly adapt to that. Else I have a lot of experience choosing interesting and engaging music pieces and topics. I have have a lot of experience in piano playing. In my life I have done a lot of professional piano competitions and international music festivals with famous figures in the music world. Besides that I come from a background of the famous Russian School of Piano, which focuses a lot on musicality and personality. Over the years I have developed my own piano technique with the focus on relaxation. This makes virtuosity possible. The philosophy of my lessons is to work primarily on the individuality of the personality of the performer, and to work with interesting and engaging musical pieces on artistic, musical and technical traits. The music always comes first!

I started my piano lessons at a very young age. After 3 years, I applied to the Conservatory where I completed my solfege and theory courses and reached level 5 in piano lessons. I teach beginners that are passionate about this instrument and with each session we work on new concepts and pieces. Our sessions are interactive and what I was always told by my students is that they appreciate my patience and flexibility.

I am Michael and ive been tutoring for the past year and a half. I’ve been playing for nearly NINE YEARS. I love to teach students by ear to reduce the reliability on notes and sheets. I’ve seen that this boosts confidence to play whenever. I make lessons really fun, I’ll take time to come down to your level of understanding. I’ll also take time to get to know you and find out what a great person you are! Lessons I provide for your aspiring keyboardists and musicians are super fun and engaging. Able to come down to the level and take time slowly. Also leave them withresource I provide to help then boost their playing development and ability. I’ve tutored beginners who now play in big audiences at school, full with confidence. I love helping the future generation of pianist and keyboardists.

I graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the piano class. I am also after an artistic internship with prof. Piotr Paleczny. I have the whole Chopin in my repertoire. Soon I plan to perform all of Chopin's works in two days. A small curiosity related to this, I won the international competition of knowledge about Fryderyk Chopin "Everything about Chopin" in Katowice (2010, 1st place - 35,000). I am a laureate of piano festivals, as well as other awards in the field of music. I have many students in Warsaw. I am very patient, I approach students' learning with passion and commitment, but I also try to simplify the way to the goal as much as possible so that both the effects and satisfaction appear quickly. I offer online lessons via a webcam. Students believe that they are equally effective. I invite you to cooperation.

I'm interested in welcoming students currently working on repertoire by Haydn or Mozart and wish to go deep in their search to understand the fabric of this type of music. My approach is centred on the Scaramuzza piano technique applied to interpret these composers' music. I also apply Caplin's analysis to their pieces. You can see my teaching style in action by watching my masterclass trailer. I'm an established pianist and composer fully dedicated to the matter and teaching students wanting to extend their insight into my fields of specialization. My lessons can be online, on residence in Spain, or face-to-face in Ferrara or London. In addition, I'm extending my scope of student absorption to the USA to find good students.
