The piano has been proved as a powerful tool to develop the brain complexity of children. The great practice could function as math, a training tool for the brain to grow stronger, faster, and more sensitive. The class is designed for the kids who have a genuine enthusiasm for piano music and want to build on professional skills even though the goal could just be enjoying the music. The way we learn piano could resemble many fields of knowledge ahead of us. It shows as a boost to the brain's potential other than just music senses. The course is built on developing kids' brain clarity using the piano tool and letting music trigger creativity.

Learn piano in all different styles - Classical, Jazz, Pop, improvisation and Composition for students of all ages I have been teaching piano to children and adults for 10 years with success in a variety of settings: High school students who have been accepted to music performance and composition programs at the University of North Texas, University of Florida, Hochschule für Musik Dresden and the Texas Woman's University Piano institute. I also have students who compose and perform their own songs, passed Trinity College of London music exams with honors, and even an adult student who studied with me to improve his keyboard solos in his rock band. In my teaching philosophy, I like to emphasize that by learning music, we can also develop the skills and discipline to succeed in many other activities. By setting clear goals and consistently following a plan to work towards them, we can achieve success in almost every area of life. By appointment, I also coach students who are interested in taking entrance exams for conservatories in Germany. Lessons can be given in German or English. A little about me: I am a concert pianist from the USA and studied as a Deutschlandstipendium holder and Meisterklasse fellow at the Hochschule für Musik Dresden with Professor Hinrich Alpers. I received my Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the University of North Texas. My recent performances include a concerts in Iceland, Germany, Malaysia, and the USA.

These lessons are for young and/or inexperienced singers. My lesson plans are tailored towards students' individual goals. For some, this may be learning and embodying an audition song for their school's upcoming theater performance, and for others voice lessons are a first step towards singing healthily in their church choir. In any case, I focus on correcting and building core skills necessary to singing one's best while encouraging and fostering creativity, accountability, and motivation. If considered for a long-term journey towards singing, I will focus particularly on classical techniques to build steady breath control, good posture, and proper vowel and consonant formation. Along with providing repertoire, if the student is ready and wants, there will be opportunities for vocal performance in the Santa Cruz area. I will encourage audio recordings in all lessons to help with future preparations. I will be assigning some homework after every lesson, likely a combination of vocalization exercises, dedicated sheet music practice, and theory homework (if needed). *My first lesson will involve getting to know the student, their goals, and some vocalization to assess vocal level. For singers with minimal/no prior foundational music theory knowledge, I may recommend time from lessons (15-30 minutes) being allocated solely towards foundational music theory learning.

Music Remote - Lesson Planning As more of our students are coming online to do their piano lessons, the lesson format will now develop accordingly. This scheme will ensure all your needs are met but will also require assistance from parents to ensure the correct equipment is available to the children at home who are having online lessons with us. Please refer to the equipment list provided which may be gradually adjusted and added to. This will ensure the teaching process is conducted as smoothly as possible. For students aged 6 & over, studying up to their grade 3 piano exam, lessons on zoom will be 30 minutes one to one. Parents are encouraged to observe their childrens music lessons. Lessons will be held on the following days, at the following times. Monday 3:30pm - 7pm Wednesday 3:30pm – 7pm Thursday 3:30pm – 7pm
