PIANO LESSONS. Highly experienced teacher: certified piano teacher, musicologist, studied composition and general health psychologist.Translate this text using Google Translate.

QUALIFIED PIANO TEACHER. Higher degree in music specializing in Musicology, advanced studies in Composition, degree in Psychology and master's degree in general health psychology. I've always been interested in the field of study methodology, focusing on effectiveness: just as there must be progress in the student's abilities, there must also be progress in the learning method. Furthermore, given my experience, and as a psychologist, I know that every student's most important tool is their mind: I try to help them develop new perspectives, encourage visualization and imagination... all of this is very helpful. I propose that you learn piano in a FAST, EFFECTIVE, and ENJOYABLE way. This, among other objectives, will help you: -Superfluous and redundant elements will be eliminated from the learning process. -We will be more positive and foster confidence in our own abilities. -We will only use repetition as a study method when absolutely necessary. It often leads to psychological strain. -We will encourage curiosity, so that studying the piano is associated with something enjoyable. -We will reflect on our pianistic interpretation, on the one we want to have and on the best way to achieve it. -We will reflect on the fingering to be used (it conditions the comfort of the performer at all times). -We will encourage imagination and musical introspection (and its great potential when it comes to learning). -We will promote relaxation.

Music is a higher revelation then all wisdom and philosophy & is the electrical soil in which the spirit lives, thinks and invents // Ludwig van Beethoven. Hello everyone. I am a very passionate and dedicated music educator with over 10 years of experience on the Costa del Sol. We have the option of teaching classes in person at our classroom/studio in Marbella —specially equipped for lessons and with interactive materials and updated educational resources—, as well as traveling to your home along the Costa del Sol, starting from Marbella and going as far as Guadalmina (near Estepona) or Calahonda (near Fuengirola). However you like it or it suits you best ; ) The instruments you can choose to learn are: * CLASSICAL PIANO & MODERN KEYBOARD * GUITAR (ACOUSTIC & ELECTRIC) * LOW * UKULELE * SINGING (INCLUDING MICROPHONE TECHNIQUE) We start from crucial classical foundations and elements of functional harmony, but the style also adapts to the student's musical taste and what they would like to develop musically, whether it be classical pieces from various periods, songs from genres such as Rock, Pop, R&B, Jazz & Blues, Folk, Fusion, as well as music from Movies and Video Games. Here we assess each student's natural strengths and talents to build a personalized repertoire and develop their musical artistry. This, in turn, develops their kinesthetic skills, multiple intelligences, emotional expressiveness and modulation, concentration, self-discipline, and interpersonal skills. The classes are taught in ENGLISH or SPANISH (as the student/client chooses, both at a native/advanced level) with a holistic and comprehensive methodology, developing a balance between the student's innate disposition and their unique preferences in the personalized repertoire we create (whether these are classical instrumental pieces and/or popular contemporary songs, with the added option of singing and playing the instrument in question). We also have essential books and resources on the subject, including classic texts and methods of musical pedagogy from conservatories (Bastien, Alfred, Carcassi, etc.), as well as contemporary methods from modern music schools (Berklee, Hal Leonard, etc.). We also have excellent references from years of teaching experience. Our friends, families, and students have been very happy with our work, and some have even passed exams for conservatories and music schools abroad :)

Piano, music theory, playing by ear - tailored for youTranslate this text using Google Translate.

It is never too late to start or resume learning piano! My teaching experience makes me a witness to this. Perhaps you came looking for piano lessons because you wish to be able to play some particular pieces, or to develop specific skills. Or maybe you don't know what your goal is yet, but are fond of the sound of the piano and want to dive into this wonderful instrument. Whatever the case, I am looking forward to hearing from you and discussing your next step! I try as much as possible to tailor the work with each individual student aiming at the goals set and the student's musical tastes. This becomes more the case the higher the student's level of experience. Nevertheless, beginners are also encouraged to suggest music for themselves to learn. The work on pieces is combined with other important activities designed to develop finger dexterity, hand coordination, rhythmic sense, music reading, playing by ear, etc. The Cortot, Hanon and scale exercises are some of my frequent choices for the technical work. For young beginners, I defend a no-book approach during the first 2 or 3 months, for three main reasons: it makes learning more fun, it unlocks our creative potential and it allows us to explore the instrument rather confidently and freely. Instead of learning how to read right from the start, students have the opportunity to play games, listen to music, sing, compose, and improvise over backing tracks, developing the core skills necessary for any musical activity later on. After this period, it is then time to introduce them to a method book. The one I recommend the most is Piano Safari. For teenage and adult beginners, the activities described above are selected and adjusted, and theory concepts may be introduced at an earlier stage. If desired, graded level series such as the RSL Classical or Contemporary Piano, among others, may be opted for. Please notice that my scheduling may not always be up to date on this website, so the best way to know my availability is sending me a message. Feel free to get in touch for any other questions as well! Looking forward to meeting you soon, Rodrigo

Piano classes for all levels and ages. I have a passion for teaching the piano.Translate this text using Google Translate.

I am a pianist and piano teacher with more than thirty years of experience, with a higher degree from the Valencia Conservatory. I studied at the Conservatory with the two professors Mario Monreal and Perfecto García Chornet, as well as with the pianist Margarita Roda and Patricio Pizarro, renowned pianist, disciple of Emeric Stefaniai, director of the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, Hungary, who bequeathed me a great knowledge of the Hungarian and Russian school, being very effective for middle and higher grade students. I teach piano classes for all levels and ages, in my piano studio in Alboraya, as well as at the student's home, traveling to the entire city of Valencia and the surrounding towns, as well as further afield studying supplements. I also teach online classes. I also prepare for conservatory exams, auditions, recitals and competitions. You will achieve quick and effective results in my personalized classes, working on all aspects of the training of a good student or pianist, such as biomechanical principles, body and hand relaxation, technique, concentration, stage fright, harmonic, stylistic, interpretive analysis, promoting the student's motivation to ensure that the creative process flows at all times. I teach classes in Spanish or English.

Piano and Singing lessons with Internationally Experienced TeacherTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Piano and Singing lessons with Internationally Experienced TeacherTranslate this text using Google Translate.

My piano lessons are built around one goal: awakening a genuine desire to explore music, and above all, helping each student develop their own taste for musical expression and the technical tools to master them, both mechanical and mental. Music is a unique challenge that gives us a new way of seeing ourselves, teaching patience, self-belief, and problem-solving along the way. I pair this outlook with solid technical grounding, adapted to any level of experience, and lessons shaped around each student's own musical goals. I regularly bring in musical analysis and theory, which often unlocks the "secrets" hiding inside the pieces we play. As a symphonic conductor and choral singer, I bring a broader, more complete musical perspective into every lesson. I'm also particularly effective with children — I have a strong track record of making music genuinely interesting to them and building real curiosity rather than rote practice. I've been teaching piano for over a decade, working with students from age 2 to 70, amateurs and professionals alike. As a performing musician, I've taken part in international competitions and hold a degree from the University of York. I teach in Portuguese, English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish, and offer lessons at my home, at the student's home, or online — whatever works best for you.

“ I came to Helena as a complete beginner with the piano. Though I played other instruments previously, her help on the techniques of the piano was exactly what I was looking for. She has a fantastic grasp of music theory and made those concepts easily understandable to me as well. I highly recommend Helena to anyone who is looking to get a solid foundation with the instrument or music in general. ”

“ AMAZING! Francesca has a calm energy, she listens to your needs, dreams, and style, and creates unique lessons suited to you. I had zero piano knowledge and near-zero musical knowledge and Francesca met me where I was, musically speaking. I highly recommend Francesca's lessons! ”

“ Enrico is a passionate musician and he enjoys talking about the theoretical aspect. He will show you how you can play music in many different ways. He goes into great detail explaining and talking about how playing a piece in a different scale changes the whole mood of the song. ”
