Hey! My name is Seán, and I am an Irish singer-songwriter based in London with 2 years of teaching experience. I teach a range of disciplines, including piano, guitar, vocals, songwriting, and music theory. Having taught students of all ages and different levels of musicianship, I am pleased to say that I have built long-lasting relationships with many of my students. With an emphasis on creativity and student input; my lessons allow students to discover their own playing style and musical direction. I strongly believe that people learn best when they enjoy what they’re doing, and I incorporate this into my teaching style. I strongly encourage my students to bring their own ideas and suggestions to the lessons; that way they can learn a piece of music that they really like. Mariam has been teaching piano lessons since 2000. Mariam made her Carnegie Hall debut at age 16 as the youngest pianist in Carnegie's history to have performed J.S. Bach's Goldberg Variations. She has numerous accomplishments in piano, including recording a critically-noted CD of the Goldberg Variations, appearing live on radio and television, winning prizes at competitions, and receiving international press recognition.
