Trusted teacher: You listen to music every day... but do you really understand what sound is, how it works, what it's made of, and how it has evolved throughout history? 🎯 Objective: I don't want to waste your time, so in just one hour, you'll discover everything I spent months learning about sound! You'll develop your sonic knowledge, understand sound in all its facets, ask all your questions, and leave with solid knowledge that you can immediately apply to your musical or personal journey. In my opinion, this introduction to sound culture is essential for any musician, composer, producer, or enthusiast who wants to master sound perfectly! My name is Salomon, and I've been a composer and producer for eight years. I studied at INA, worked at RMC and Abbey Road Studios, and produced music in many styles. I have a comprehensive skill set: computer music production, guitar, harmonica, and a very broad musical knowledge that I'd like to share. What you will learn and discover in 1 hour: * What sound actually is: vibrations, frequencies, amplitude, spectrum... explained simply * How our ear perceives and analyzes sounds (masking, pitch, timbre...) * The phenomena of sound through unexpected and fascinating facts * The impact of space, materials, and environment on sound * The concepts of sound perception and psychoacoustics * The history of sound: from its earliest explorations to the evolution of sound techniques Method: * The course is presented using a clear and structured PowerPoint presentation. * This is a time for discussion and questioning: your questions are at the heart of the course * In the end, you leave with: * the complete PDF support * all my sound resources for DAW * the possibility of contacting me at any time for your technical questions Send me a message so we can chat!

Trusted teacher: Graduate in Performing Arts from TAI University Graduate in Psychology with a Master’s in Music Therapy from UNED Specialized jazz studies at Berklee College of Music and Escuela de Música Creativa Studies in singing styles and vocal physiology at Nina Academia Vocal recovery training with LaxVox at Aurea Speech Therapy Clinic I have been studying opera and classical singing since the age of 12, as well as jazz, choral, and musical theater singing. I have been performing in musicals since 2015. These studies have given me a wealth of tools to adapt to what each student needs and wants, because the most important thing is that we never stop enjoying music. My classes are based on three core principles. The first is having a clear method, rooted in the real functioning of the voice—its physiology (what science tells us about how we use the body to sing)—and applicable to anyone, step by step, with logic. I always prioritize the student’s vocal health and rely on scientifically proven methods. I use simple language, without unnecessary technicalities, so everything is easy to understand and makes sense. The second is the emotional and psychological aspect. For me, connecting with the person in front of me is essential—understanding how they think, how they perceive themselves, what blocks them, and what motivates them. This way, I can adapt the classes to their personality and goals. I try to create a relaxed environment based on respect, trust, and a little humor, where everyone feels free and comfortable. We aren’t all born with the voice we wish we had, but we can all develop what we do have—and on that journey, singing becomes a way to know and accept yourself better. And the third is the dedication and professionalism with which I approach this work, which I am truly passionate about. All classes are divided into a warm-up and vocalization section, followed by work on a chosen piece suited to the student’s level and preferred style. Regardless of style or level, a foundation in classical singing will always be established.

I really recommend katja for your violin classes!!! She's a very good teacher. Katja has a rich background in music and is able to adapt the class according to the level of the student. Her explanations and corrections to evolve are concreet and very well done, which makes things easier to understand. She makes you love music and violin. She has a good time notion and makes the hour of the class efficient as she makes you work on different things. She's also a very nice person! Enjoy your class with katja :)

Usha

rating green star
Usha is a world-class violinist and violin teacher! I studied from a young age and through college at a relatively high level, but had to put it down for many years once I started working. Usha has helped me relearn the fundamentals with good habits and regain confidence as a performing artist. I love how creatively she tackles complex problems, and how her violin lessons--though focused on music and technique--seem to involve big life lessons as well. I look forward to continuing to study with Usha!
