Singing, Piano and/or Solfège lessons (at your home or online)Translate this text using Google Translate.

CLASSES IN SPANISH, CATALAN, FRANÇAIS, DEUTSCH, ENGLISH I teach singing, piano, music awareness/introduction and solfège. I live in Madrid and I'm a student pursuing a higher degree in singing (jazz and contemporary music). I dedicate a good part of my time to teaching (music and language) through private online or in-person lessons. I started giving private lessons to children at their homes when I lived in Germany. During the 2022-2023 academic year, I taught piano to students of all ages at the RedMusik Music School (Igualada, Catalonia). I studied piano and other instruments for over 15 years at the UGDA and the Luxembourg City Conservatory. After many years of solfège and piano, I obtained the Conservatory's "Première Mention" certificate with the highest possible grade, "Très Bien". A good music lesson should include not only technique and reading sheet music, but also theoretical and harmonic study, improvisation, recreational playing with the instrument, and ear training and rhythm exercises. I am interested in designing the lesson creatively and adapting it to the needs and desires of the student. I hope I can encourage you to move forward with your musical learning, and if that's the case, don't hesitate to write to me with any questions you may have :) See you soon! Aurélie

*North Madrid based* I'm Aoife (Ifa), an infant & primary school teacher from Ireland, currently working in a private British school in Chamartín. As a teacher, I am enthusiastic, adaptable and dedicated to delivering the highest quality of learning. I target lessons to ensure each student’s needs and wants are being met, whilst ensuring enjoyment and interest. I speak Spanish & English, so don’t worry if you are nervous about your child’s language level. For 20 years, I trained as a classical pianist with the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Yearly, I achieved high marks as evidenced below in my transcripts. I am extremely skilled in playing various genres of piano as well as musical theory. I have taught private piano 1:1 lessons for 5 years, although for enjoyment, not classically. Conditions: - For student comfort, I can travel to your location after 5pm each evening. - Lessons are 45 minutes due to the fact that 1-hour exhausts the learning process and decreases attention, concentration and enjoyment for children. - To maintain and develop new skills, children should play the piano independently between lessons. - I will teach musical theory (reading music, rhythm, how songs are composed), musical literacy (musical chords/ scales, exercises) and songs (sight-reading, songs chosen by student) according to each student’s ability.

Private lesson in classical/Spanish/early music guitarTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Private lesson in classical/Spanish/early music guitarTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hi everyone, thanks for checking out my profile! I am a guitarist and lutenist with 19 years of experience in musical performance. I have taught at public professional conservatories, as well as at various private music schools, to students of all ages and skill levels. In my classes, neither age nor skill level is a barrier to teaching musicality and guitar technique. My main objective is to reveal the student's intrinsic qualities naturally and progressively through the enjoyment of music, and the results are proven by the feedback from my students (and their parents). We can work with many different musical styles within classical music, exploring its various forms, musical languages, and sources of musical notation. We can also delve into popular musical styles such as flamenco (rumbas, fandangos, alegrías, sevillanas, etc.) and their different strumming patterns, scales, harmonic structures, and time signatures. Or we can explore the vast and fascinating world of early music through tablatures and manuscripts from the 16th century. Whether you're a beginner, advanced student, child, teenager, or adult, whether for auditions, concert preparation, music schools, music exams, as a hobby, or simply for the love of the guitar, you are all welcome to join my lessons. I can teach in English and Spanish.

“ Andrea has become a bit of a safety valve for me—often I have no idea how to teach or guide my daughter when she’s playing cello. The experience has been so helpful and makes the process run much more smoothly. Even with a language barrier (my daughter speaks neither English nor Spanish), Andrea finds ways to connect, and it’s clear how much my daughter looks up to her. When I signed my daughter up for an orchestra camp at the last minute—with only a couple of days to learn the pieces—Andrea was a lifesaver for both of us, and thanks to her, my daughter is able to go and make great memories. We’ve already had a couple of lessons with Andrea and hope to keep working with her. I can’t recommend her highly enough! ”

“ Sofia is a great piano teacher who truly listens to your individual goals. We focused on enhancing my technique, especially in terms of expression and emotion, and I already started noticing significant improvements after a very short time. ”

“ I enjoy each class with Aurélie! She is a motivated, structured and passionate teacher. I feel that with each class I am being more confident and comfortable in speaking Lux. I highly recommande Aurélie if you are looking to learn Lux. ”
