Trusted teacher: My name is Léna, and I offer violin lessons for all ages and skill levels. I have many years of experience in private instruction and am currently completing my Master of Pedagogy at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FHNW) in Basel. I particularly enjoy the duality of learning: building a solid foundation and working on technique, which ultimately allows one to experience complete freedom and joy on the instrument. I personally find the balance between the two by working according to the principles of the Alexander Technique and paying attention to physical health and the sustainability of playing. I implement this in my teaching; I find it very important to tailor the lessons, exercises, and method closely to the goals and personality of the students. I also have a master's degree in violin with an old scale, which I completed at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. Early music is my other great passion, so there's always the opportunity to learn about historical performance practice! After more than 23 years of playing this wonderful instrument, the freedom of music still inspires me and keeps me going. I look forward to accompanying you on your musical journey!

Piano Lesson and music theory at your home for children and adults! (Kowloon)

I cannot find a word that can explain my appreciation for Christian. She is a patient , responsible, and good teacher. She really try very hard to help my son William to understand theory . William hate theory to now he understands very well. Christian knows that he got limited time to do his grade 5 exam which required by school . She only use 2 moths to help him to got distinction. ( which I only think he could just pass) I was so lucky to find her in this website which we had changed 2 teachers before in UK and HK who fail to make theory interesting for William. . I ll recommend Christian to anyone who I know and want to improve their music now she is teaching my daughter piano I am so looking forward to see her improvement and enjoyment for music.

Emvee

Emvee is a very good music teacher, my daughter had already several lessons with her and we are very happy with the progress. Can highly recommend to anyone. Also we like when Emvee sings herself, she has got beautiful and majestic voice herself! She is very good with Disney songs, when she sings we feel that one of the characters like Jasmine or Cinderella is just in front us! But you need to understand that she can do only her best and the rest of hard work you need to do yourself.
