Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Physics tutoring (+University admission help for Medicine and Oxbridge)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Hi, my name is Juliana and I am currently 2nd year studying BSc Biomedical Sciences at UCL. I received 8A* and 3As for my GCSE and I got an A for my AS physics. I graduated with A*A*A in Maths, Chemistry, and Biology for A level. I have had a great passion for teaching since a long time ago as I find it rewarding to see how much positive impact I can have on someone's life just by sharing my experience. I initially built up my teaching experience by volunteering in tutoring at school since GCSE then I tutored more students (especially KS3 and GCSE) outside school for mainly Maths and Sciences until now. I recently helped out A-level students who wanted to apply to Medicine or similar courses as Biomedical Sciences as well as those who want to apply to Oxbridge with their university admissions. My teaching style is very interactive. I tried to help students build their problem-solving skills by themselves. I am very organized so I can provide resources or quizzes to further help the students reach their target. I try to customize my teaching style to the student's learning style and pace. I also can teach some of the useful special techniques for Maths that are not taught anywhere in the UK! I am currently writing model answers for maths and sciences for various exam boards (GCSE to A level). Hence, I am very well aware of the exam board style and contents. I can teach students from primary school kids up to A level students for Maths and 3 Sciences except for physics which I can do up to GCSE level. I can even help students out in their school entry or university admissions if wanted.

Academic support from Primary to college all subjectsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Academic support from Primary to college all subjectsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

The tutor specializes in teaching children and adolescents with disabilities (physical, mental, cognitive), behavioral and learning disorders. It follows students with special educational needs through courses and activities adapted to the age, type and severity of the disability and supports them in their integration into the classroom. What does a tutoring teacher do and what is his role in the school? The main functions of a tutor in tutoring are similar to those of a normal teacher: planning lessons and preparing activities, presenting and explaining in class the themes of the day, proposing homework to be carried out independently at home, evaluating through questions, tests and checks the learning level of the students. The way of carrying out these activities must however be adapted to the recipients: an autistic, blind, dyslexic child. The tutor in tutoring must first of all assess the psycho-physical profile of the student provided by the medical and social staff, in order to develop an individual educational plan (IEP), using a study program and training objectives adapted to the characteristics, skills, potential and specific requirements of the student. When preparing the educational plan, the teacher consults the family, other teachers and professionals who follow the children (educator, speech therapist, child psychiatrist, etc.) in order to coordinate activities in a synergistic manner and provide students with the best possible academic support. When preparing and then carrying out the various activities at school, the tutor must therefore take into account the specific needs of the students. For example, it simplifies explanations and teaching materials, or offers psychomotor activities, because traditional teaching techniques are often not adapted to these students: the tutor in tutoring must therefore strive to find an effective way of interact with young people with disabilities or disorders, and support them during learning. School Support Teacher - key skills In addition to learning the didactic content (basic skills such as reading, writing, arithmetic, specific subjects such as geography), the support teacher also ensures that children and adolescents are encouraged to have confidence in them. It therefore offers strategies and techniques to compensate for the limitations due to their disability and promotes the integration and socialization of students with other students in the class. A tutor in tutoring must also take care of the administrative part related to his role in the school or the institute: he fills in and updates the school register with the support activities, participates in class meetings and councils, he meets the family, guardians and other health professionals who follow the students. Where does a tutoring teacher work? School support teachers most often work in primary schools, colleges and high schools, public and private, in specialized institutes for young people with severe disabilities and in extracurricular centers, alongside traditional teachers. Employment contracts can provide for temporary (replacements) or indefinite (permanent) mandates.

math, physics, chemistry and test prepping ( sat, sat II, PSAT, examen de maturite)Translate this text using Google Translate.

I am a math, physics and chemistry teacher. I have been tutoring students (one on one) since 1993 and teaching secondary classes (9th, 10th, 11th and freshman) since 1998. I specialize in preparing students for the SAT1, SAT2, GRE, UKKAT, GMAT, BMAT, GCSE and TAGE-MAGE in math, physics and chemistry. The private tutoring part of my career allowed me through the years to understand the needs, difficulties and gaps that a student might have, and find solutions for each and every one of them. I teach in French and in English both the Lebanese and French curricula as well as the IB program. I helped many schools in the development of their math curriculum from elementary to secondary classes. As soon as the COVID-19 outbreak hit my country, I developed and implemented an online teaching system that allowed me to complete the curriculum and finish the preparation of my student using a combination of Zoom, Google Classroom, Microsoft-Whiteboard , Casio Classpad emulator and other apps. I used my knowledge in this field to continue the online one-on-one tutoring for my students . after 28 years teaching regular classes, i discovered in online learning , during those last 3 semesters, a lot of benefits that are not present in regular learning: . ease of access: you can work (as a teacher or a student) at your convenience , wherever you please. . possibility of reviewing at your rhythm ( i always record my sessions and send the videos later) . the use of e-technologies allows me to connect different application ( 3d drawing, graphing calculator, spreadsheets, ...) a lot easier to do online than in a regular class . one on one session give me time and opportunity to address each student difficulty , and fill all the gaps . flexibility: you can always arrange with your student a convenient time
